I'm not sure if this is gonna be too radical an idea, but how about unpinning the soap topics and pinning the ratings thread and weekly highlights thread? Just an idea to freshen things up!

Yeh, I've been thinking about the soap threads and I think OCD is the only reason I like them pinned. Eastenders is the only one that gets regular discussion anyway.
So yeh let's do it! I do think it would be nice to see things freshened up, and we can always change it back if it's not working. When I posted the highlights thread it did feel like it would be better pinned but I don't like the idea of too many pinned threads so left it! |

Yeah - I'm not a fan of multi-pinning topics either, but I'm glad you agree with me! There is a slight danger that Hollyoaks and Emmerdale might get lost, but we can change it back in a few weeks if discussion completely collapses for all the soaps.

I was thinking that about Emmerdale and Hollyoaks too but it always nice to mix things up a bit and we can see how things go.

I think we should instead do two/three awards per night because otherwise it ends up being a monologue of my posts. I can't do tomorrow, so I'm gonna hand the reigns over to you now. If you manage to get a lot of 'spectators' tomorrow, then by all means I'm happy for you to post as many as you like / finish it.
