OMGGGG

So excited but also so nervous about getting tickets - the UK site crashing when this was announced is not a good sign for how hard that's gonna be cheeseblock.png

I managed to get into the store, just keep refreshing the page and it’ll work eventually.

I’m thinking she’s going to have to do quite a few UK dates surely, otherwise the entire thing might sell out just from the pre-sale codes laugh.gif

I really hope she does proper UK dates and doesn't just do the likes of BST/Glasto!

I would also really prefer her to do arenas here rather than stadiums although I can't see that happening haha

Surely she won’t do a tour until all the TV’s are out

Why can't she tour? She has 3 albums that haven't had tours. I think Superbowl/Glasto/huge festivals are off the cards until the TVs are complete though

Also she can use the tour arrangements of the big hits if she wants. Stuff like Superbowl and Glasto gives exposure. No point doing them until she has all the TVs complete and have people buy those insteas of the original versions.

just seems like a weird time to tour and not take advantage of big opportunities especially cause this album feels very very big for her?

I'm not sure on the legalities of what happens if she performs any 1989 songs live but she's been avidly blocking any use of the tracks for promotion uses, so unless she's planning to drop 1989 TV before the tour (which is probable), then it feels a bit odd.

with how big the album is, glasto feels like it should be calling?

Apparently she can't release 1989 TV until the Shake It Off lawsuit is totally closed, and its unlikely for that to be closed by next summer (which is likely when the tour will be)

Provided that was released, she could get away with touring - there arent really any songs on Debut/Speak Now that she would need to perform on tour (the only song form those albums on the Rep tour setlist was Should've Said No) it would just be Reputation.. unless she releases LWYMMD (TV) as a one off laugh.gif

Her non-TV catalogue will inevitably be boosted massively by a tour if she does it before releasing all of them - that's my only thought. But I think she needs to tour these past four new albums?! Not sure what she's going to do.. but I do think at least one new TV will be released before the tour commences (Speak Now would be my guess)
