On a Saturday afternoon do you prefer watch Final Score on the BBC or Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports or something else.

We used to watch Soccer Saturday but since Sky Sports News was removed from Freeview a few years ago we've had no choice but to watch Final Score. I remember watching The Goal Rush when I was much younger, I think that was ITV's attempt at a scores service but it didn't last very long!

Yes, The Goal Rush I remember that. It was when ITV had to the rights show highlights for the Premier League.

This was it from 1:45 onwards:

Ah yes fabulous! biggrin.gif I'm surprised I can remember that, I was only 6 at the time. I had thought it was more mid 2000s than early 2000s!

Sky Sports News was removed from Freeview in August 2010 for me anyway, so I haven't been able to watch that since then! sad.gif (Although I think they showed it once or twice on Sky Three/Pick TV in order to try and shift some more subscriptions)

Whenever I'm home on a Saturday afternoon Soccer Saturday/Soccer special on Sky Sports News is my preferred choice for the football scores.

The funny moments like this are enough of a reason to watch it laugh.gif

Soccer Saturday is really over the top. I'm usually not in on Saturday afternoons - or, if I am, I try to find a dodgy stream showing Sunderland getting beaten comprehensively.

Soccer Saturday for me, Jeff Stelling's passion for the game makes it come alive for me.

Well, for watching fixtures outright here in the US, I watch them on NBCSN....same for any highlights shows, which seem to escape me at the moment....

EDIT: I do get MOTD here on NBCSN, and I do watch on occasion Men In Blazers, which I know isn't really a proper highlights show, but humorous nonetheless....

Soccer Saturday generally. Although it has its moments I have found myself slipping into the 'this is slightly nauseating' category over the past couple of years. Maybe I grew up a bit, maybe it was the LAD bible being rammed down everyone's throats 24/7. I dunno.

If I'm not working, or at a match, I watch Soccer Saturday. Paul Merson's interpretation of the English language is something to behold laugh.gif
