I feel like this is nicely in between 1989 and Reputation, really liking it! Not sure if I prefer it to Me, but the production is great and it's another good sign for the album.

I appreciate what she's trying to do here (all for her dropping a Pride anthem etc.) but this is just not a good song, there are far too many cringeworthy lyrics. And I say that as someone who quite likes 'ME!'

I really like this after a couple of listens. The production is a lot more chilled than ME!, it's quite Blank Space in places. I don't see it being a huge hit unfortunately but I'd say it's my favourite single of hers since the 1989 era!

I'm happy with its performance so far & it should get a boost from the video tomorrow:
Currently 4 on iTunes and 17 on Spotify. Still no hot hits UK ffs, hopefully it gets added tomorrow around the same time the video drops. Should be good for a top 10 debut *.* #2 on Spotify US (behind one of Drake's new ones) atm |
