What song will win ?
Ego.
a song by Girls Aloud hopefully.
92. One Direction - One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks) [Average Rating 3.89]
91. One Direction - Gotta Be You [Average Rating 3.92]
Kicking Start The Buzzjack Group Singles Rate is comic relief single 'One Way Or Another' (EAT SLUGS) which was ACTUALLY :jamelia: the highest first week sales of 2014 before 'What About Us' beat it. 'One Way Or Another' generated a massive 5 -1 with their highest rating being a one 9.5. 'One Way Or Another' is not the worst song on this last can we just agree. The single at #91 is far worse than 'One Way Or Another'.
Finishing at #91 is the single that promoted One Direction's debut album 'Up All Night' is 'Gotta Be You' thankfully 'Gotta Be You' deservedly flopped hard with it being their worst ballad by a country mile. 'Gotta Be You' somehow only managed five -1 with their highest point being one 10. Have you got ears?
Poor One Direction.
Poor 1D.
What the actual f*** at One Way or Another being below Gotta Be You. Where is the FUN guys????
Both awful songs- though gotta be you is one of 1D's best. I don't get why everyone hates it?
And if Forever Is Over is in the bottom 10, or the worst performing Saturdays song or really low down- I am going to have a breakdown here
One Way Or Another being the lowest
it is definitely their worst song and they do have a lot of awful songs
One Direction - One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks) isn't that bad though.
I didn't even participate in this, what the hell
86. Sugababes - Girls [Average Rating 4.79]
87. The Saturdays - Gentleman [Average Rating 4.77]
88. One Direction - Midnight Memories [Average Rating 4.55]
89. Sugababes - Freedom [Average Rating 4.29]
90. Little Mix - Word Up! [Average Rating 4.03]
Kicking start the next batch is Little Mix Sport Relief song 'Word Up!' which rightfully underperformed. I always thought it was a stupid decision from Little Mix to promote 'Word Up!' while promoting 'Salute' as an album which had much better single choices, Little Mix really should have went from another single from 'Salute' because it was such a strong album and I believe releasing 'Word Up!' as a single affected the albums performance. 'Word Up' becomes the third consecutive song to manage five -1 in a row which costs it dearly as it also managed to gather a 10.
No. No. No. Finishing at 89 is the single that was / never was in 'Freedom'. I remember the excitement of Sugababes v Saturdays v Pixie v Leona until Sugababes a week before cancelled the single release despite performing the song heavily on UK channels. 'Freedom' ended the consecutive runs of five -1 as it managed three and managed one 10. "Cause tonight is the night that we break the speed of life" what a euphoric chorus and y'all need ears if you believe this to be the fourth worst song on the list.
Its not going to be a major surprise to anyone to see another One Direction dropping out as 'Midnight Memories' thankfully drops out sooner rather than later. Will One Direction manage a song in the top 50? 'Midnight Memories' is a prime example on how NOT to have a single campaign. Lets promote in December and release in March. 'Midnight Memories' managed a lucky peak due to OCC messing up. ' Midnight Memories' managed two -1 which explains why it wasn't in the bottom 3.
The first Saturdays to drop out is the FLOPTASTIC 'Gentleman' which managed to generate a massive five -1, although it managed more nines than the next five songs although only gaining one 10 causes it to drop out early. Rochelle needs a drake, she needs a kanye and she wont have anyone on Buzzjack cause they aint a gentleman anyway. 'Gentleman' was the follow up from 'What About Us' and killed their airplay and momentum for 'Living For The Weekend'.
Sugababes match One Direction in having two songs dropping out in one batch as their worst single 'Girls' finishes 6 places to high in #86. I have no idea how 'Girls' smashed but I'm rather glad that it managed three -1 which shows that I'm not the only person who detests this song.
Erm why is Freedom so low? You people have no taste.
wtf at Girls being out before SHAPE good to see Freedom as the lowest Suga single though!
Girls Aloud being the last group to have all tracks remaining *.* can't imagine BCYLM is that far off though
Tbh after having time to settle and seeing the tour, Gentleman has become quite a jam.
Word up is great and girls is so underrated- such an amazing gem of a track Gentleman is good, freedom is ok and the less said about midnight horror the better.
On the topic of groups, I have evanescence- bring me to life on repeat right now, what a classic
Loving this Lee!
I really don't mind Gotta Be You - especially one of the remixes. Their comic relief cover was awful but at least it was an attempt at being COMIC. Cough Sam Legend Cough.
No Girls Aloud songs out yet. Hopefully BCYLM, Long Hot Summer and Life got shite go soon.
Life Got Cold better be a LONG way off being revealed yet See the Day is disposable though.
81. Girls Aloud - I Think We're Alone Now (Average Rating 5.45)
82. One Direction - More Than This (Average Rating 5.12)
83. One Direction - Little Things (Average Rating 4.84)
84. Sugababes - No Can Do (Average Rating 4.83)
85. Sugababes - Walk This Way (Feat Girls Aloud) (Average Rating 4.82)
Kicking start the next batch for the third consecutive batch is another comic relief / children in need song with Girls Aloud and Sugababes teaming up to release 'Walk This Way' which was rather awful, I hope when telling the public to walk this way it was out the room because this song was indeed awful. It's such a shame that they released a poor cover rather than going for a POP UPTEMPO classic. 'Walk This Way' is the first Girls Aloud song to be eliminated as it got two -1 which is rather impressive at this stage.
Poor Sugababes recieve a triple elimination with 'No Can Do' crashing at #84. I can't say that I'm a massive fan of 'No Can Do' but it's obviously got it's limited supporters as it managed to gain a 9. 'No Can Do' obviously benefited with 7 people refusing to score the song due to it being that irrelevant but I guess that's always going to happen with the Sugababes.
Finishing at #83 is One Directions best single 'Little Things'. One Direction provide so much truth informing us that 'You Can't Go To Bed Without A Cup Of Tea'. How dare the public of Buzzjack provide such a great ballad with three -1. Thankfully 'Little Things' managed to receive an 11 and three 10's which allowed it to finish as high as #83.
Almost beating it's official chart peak . One Direction releases 'More Than This' to promote with their tour DVD release and released such an iconic video it would be bizzare to suggest that 'More Than This' wasn't a single. 'If I'm Louder, will you hear me?' screeches the best One Direction member Niall. 'More Than This' deserved to be a single but it was a shame that it was handled so poorly. Poor One Direction having over 5 songs out in the first 12 songs. I guess they could go a while without a song being eliminated now, right?
Eventually! Girls Aloud have finally had a solo song eliminated with ' I Think We're Alone Now' missing the top 80 . I was rather surprised to see ' I Think We're Alone Now' being the lowest Girls Aloud song as gained NO -1 and one 11 .
1D Flopping badly
More Than This was an Australian-only single, let's not go over this again x (oh and it did beat its official peak - it got to #86 here just from a few TV channels picking it up )
I Think We're Alone Now is great but not a huge loss so I can't say I'm too gutted it's gone. Walk This Way and No Can Do are both very underrated!
'Walk This Way' and 'No Can Do' are both so lacklustre so glad to see these low. 'I Think We're Alone Now' album version is alright, but single version was BUTCHERED, much like poor brave 'Untouchable'. 'Little Things' is one of One Direction's best, though.
What an awful section all of them bar more than this should have lasted way longer
Little things is by far one directions best and is so so beautiful, no can do and walk this way are great and I think we're alone now is an excellent and fun cover
'Life Got Cold' deserves to be at least top 50, it's by far one of the BEST ballads by Girls Aloud. There's quite a shock in the next batch but the next batch will be announced at 6pm tomorrow.
I'll see y'all at 6pm tomorrow and we should at least manage to go into the top 40!
Ouch at the 1D shade...
I remember loving More Than This when I first heard it but it hasn't aged well. Never liked Little Things.
WLH is really under appreciated. It's stunning
WLH >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Life Got Cold
No MAJOR shocks/disappointments yet, 1D being severly underrated as was to be expected.
A disgrace though that 'One Way Or Another' was below 'Gotta Be You'. And where is 'Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me'?? That should be the lowest ranking GA song.
More Than This is second best 1d single so underrated.
Boo @ I think we're alone now is that low too so underrated [2]
Next batch coming at 7?
How many songs will each artist lose?
Hopefully 'Cannonball', 'Forever Is Over', and 'Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me' are in the next lot.
76. Sugababes - Wear My Kiss (Average Rating 5.69)
77. Little Mix - Cannonball (Average Rating 5.65)
78. Girls Aloud - Beautiful Cause You Love Me (Average Rating 5.61)
79. Girls Aloud - Whole Lotta History (Average Rating 5.56)
80. Girls Aloud - See The Day (Average Rating 5.51)
Finishing at #80 is an average Girls Aloud track 'See The Day' which managed to generate three 10's with its lowest scoring being a two. Girls Aloud suffered with four people not scoring 'See The Day' ensuring that it fails to go top 75. 'See The Day' thankfully missed the top 5 as it peaked at #09 in the UK charts. The first two Girls Aloud songs out are covers which means the best is still to come?
Finishing at #79 is 'Whole Lotta History' that seems to have generated much hype from Joseph in the last week or so. 'Whole Lotta History' managed an impressive peak at #06 in the UK Charts and achieved three 10's. 'Whole Lotta History' received one -1 with five members unable to provide 'Whole Lotta History' with a rate which caused it to finish at #79.
Surely it can't be a fourth Girls Aloud song in a row? At #78 we have 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me' (Mah Baby, Mah Baby, Mah Baby). 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me' has performed well in the rate with multiple members wishing for it to be one of the first songs to be eliminated. 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me' flopped hard and peaked at a disappointing #97 in the official charts. Three -1 cost 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me' dearly and without the three -1 it should have been comfortably within the top 65.
At #77 in the singles rate countdown we have X Factor winners Little Mix with their X-Factor winners single 'Cannonball'. 'Cannonball' had the lowest opening week sales in years before it was replaced by 'Skyscraper' by the one and only Sam Bailey. Little Mix managed to debut at #01 with 'Cannonball' and ended the under-performances of girlbands in the x Factor. 'Cannonball' received three -1 and would have been much higher had it not received a -1 in the last two votes.
At #76 we have the "Final ACTUAL Single" released by Sugababes. 'Wear My Kiss' managed to peak in the top 10 in the official charts before free falling like Sugababes 3.0. 'Wear My Kiss' was the single that supported the release of their best album 'Sweet 7'. 'Wear My Kiss' managed two 10's and one -1.
Congratulations to One Direction who avoided a song being eliminated! Can they manage another batch of songs without having a song eliminated?
I'm loving this, nice to see The Sats are holding strong, I'm curious to what is out next for them, I'm guessing 30 Days or JCGE?
All of those girls aloud songs are ok but nothing special. I really like cannonball but it was so much better a couple of years ago. Shame to see the criminally underrated wear my kiss out- it is such an amazing track
I was hoping for 'Missing You' to be honest, but not happening I guess?
Whole Lotta History below BCYLM? I feel SICK. You lot are crazy.
71. Sugababes - Soul Sound (Average Rating 5.82)
72. Sugababes - Angels With Dirty Faces (Average Rating (5.80)
73. Girls Aloud - Long Hot Summer (Average Rating (5.79)
74. Sugababes - Shape (Average Rating 5.78)
75. Sugababes - New Year (Average Rating 5.69)
Kicking start the precious top 5 is one of four Sugababes songs being eliminated. One Direction avoiding another batch of songs without being eliminated . 'New Year' manages to finish 75th in the Buzzjack Group Single Rate with it majorly benefiting with 7 people not voting for the track and it managing two tens.
Poor Sugababes are heavily struggling and the non voters of songs are no longer benefiting them with 'Shape' being the next song eliminated. I'm far more aware of 'Shape' than any other Sugababes song in this batch so it comes as a surprise to see finish low. 'Shape' managed three 10's but their one negative 1 proved to be costly.
This is something I wasn't expecting to see. Bombing at #73 is a high profile Girls Aloud song who also seem to be losing songs rather fast while One Direction continue to be on some sort of momentum avoiding any possible elimination. 'Long Hot Summer' managed one 11 but two negative one's cost the song overall.
I wish I could comment in full detail regarding Sugababes again flopping at #71 and #72 but I would be doing an Una Foden and rambling on about things I had no idea about. #Sugaflops.
Nadine's rap in 'Long Hot Summer' is worth top 40 ALONE
Long hot summer is amazing
The end of 'Long Hot Summer' is amazing.
Majority of those forgettable Sugababes songs finished far too high. In particular 'Shape'
Poor BRAVE 'Cannonball' (Still my fave winner's single). I think my thoughts on 'Whole Lotta History' are pretty loud and clear throughout this forum. Gorgeous song.
EDIT: Oh and that awful 'Wear My Kiss' is far too high too. It's a shame as I still really like 'Sweet 7' tbh.
Long Hot Summer is great but it is one of the less good GA singles for me so no huge loss.
66. One Direction - One Thing (Average Rating 6.29)
67. Girls Aloud - I'll Stand By You (Average Rating 6.28)
68. Little Mix - How Ya Doin? (Average Rating 6.05)
69. Sugababes - Follow Me Home (Average Rating 6.04)
70. One Direction - Live While We're Young (Average Rating 5.98)
One Direction were doing so well recently but all good things must come to an end as the energetic 'Live While We're Young' somehow managed to receive a low average rating of 5.98. 'Live While We're Young' was blocked from #01 by 'Diamonds' and it dropped down the charts at a rather fast speed. I'm the first one to admit that I'm disappointed that 'Live While We're Young' only managed #60 in the Buzzjack Group Singles Rate as it's such a feel good track with an incredible chorus. 'Live While We're Young' managed four 10's with it's lowest score being five 0's.
Sugababes who have been dropping songs left right and center only manage to get one song eliminated in this batch with 'Follow Me Home' finishing at the legendary #69. 'Follow Me Home' is one of the better Sugababes track before 3.0 as it managed one 11 and had everybody voted for the track it could have easily at least managed top 60.
Finishing at #68 with an average rating of 6.05 is the floppiest Little Mix single 'How Ya Doin?'. 'How Ya Doin' was the fourth single released from Little Mix debut album and they remixed the single to feature the incredible overrated Missy Elliot. 'How Ya Doin' managed one 11 and four 10's but received two -1 which put it down a fair amount of places.
Another cover from Girls Aloud (Yes seriously, they released a lot of covers) 'I'll Stand By You' manages an average rating of 6.28 which is a nice little 0.23% ahead of #68. 'I'll Stand By You' is a well known track so it was surprising for me to see it finish this low. 'I'll Stand By You' managed one 10 and one -1.
One of my favourite One Direction songs crashes out so hard out of nowhere, I'm starstruck and up in the air. 'One Thing' deserves so much better than a disappointing #66 finish. (ILLUMINATE). 'One Thing' like 'Live While We're Young' is such a feel good track and it's a song that deserved to perform better in the charts and perform at least 30 places higher in this rate. God dammit Buzzjack.
How ya doin is quite good but the other 3 are poor so glad they are all out.
But I'll stand by you out already It's one of my favourite ever GA tracks and it is so beautiful, deserves to be top 10
Live While We're Young is such an obvious WMYB rip-off but that's not even a bad thing when WMYB is one of the best songs of all-time. LWWY is one of my fave 1D tracks too, heard it for the first time in a while the other week and it sounded better than I remembered!
I'll Stand By You is a GORGEOUS cover and How Ya Doin'? is my fave Little Mix single (in Missy Elliott form only, the album version is a bit shit), so shame to see them both out. One Thing is great but not the best 1D song so I won't complain and Follow Me Home is lovely but has done about as well as expected I think.
One Thing deserves WAY better.
Shocked that BCYLM has beaten WLH. What is going on there? Whole Lotta History is the ONLY Girls Aloud ballad I like, though I tolerate I'll Stand By You.
GA's See The Day is probs the most underrated song in this whole thing!! Idk why I love it so much but I really do
Nothing of note in that batch apart from the GORGEOUS 'I'll Stand By You'! Genuinely a lovely cover, so happy it got to no.1 for them.
Not at "One Thing" being eliminated already SHAAAAADY
61. The Saturdays - Forever Is Over (Average Rating 6.56)
62. Sugababes - Get Sexy (Average Rating 6.48)
63. The Saturdays - Just Can't Get Enough (Average Rating 6.39)
64. One Direction - You & I (Average Rating 6.38)
65. One Direction - Best Song Ever (Average Rating 6.29)
Poor One Direction have very little left right now as 'Best Song Ever' finishes at #65 with an average rating of 6.29. 'Best Song Ever' was always going to set One Direction for a massive fall because to have a title called 'Best Song Ever' it needs to be the best song ever. 'Best Song Ever' was a success for One Direction and managed to comfortably getting them another top 5 hit in the United Kingdom. 'Best Song Ever' managed one 11, eight 10's and would have been higher had it not received a -1.
Speaking about poor One Direction 'You And I' falls short of the top 60 as an average rating of 6.38 is not enough for One Direction having more songs in the top 60. 'You And I' was critically acclaimed as a fantastic ballad but it's chart performance proved costly as it unfortunately missed the top 10. 'You And I' deserves top 50 imo and I'm sure a lot will agree as it managed to receive three 11's which is more than any other song so far.
When I'm with you baby, I go out of my head I just can't get enough. The Saturdays suffer their second casualty as 'Just Can't Get Enough' finishes at a disappointing #63 with an average of 6.39. 'Just Can't Get Enough' is such an underrated song, it's fun and it always makes me want to party super naughty. 'Just Can't Get Enough' managed seven 10's but two -1 ensured it couldn't climb any higher than #63.
I feel the Sugababes pain. Whenever I'm walking down the street they say hey sexy. Sugababes have lost more songs than any other artists so far but it doesn't count for much as they had the most singles. 'Get Sexy' was the beginning of the end for Sugababes 3.0 as it was the final song with Keisha? 'Get Sexy' debuted at the chart at #02 and is adored by a small amount of the buzzjack community as it managed two 10's and only one -1.
Poor Ultraviolance, if 'Just Can't Get Enough' missing the top 60 was heartbreaking enough for her, 'Forever Is Over' flops out at the same batch. Indeed 'Forever Is Over'. I'm sure Samantha is going to be singing Buzzjack "Gone, Gone, Gone". 'Forever Is Over' was the first Saturdays single to peak at #02 despite falling down the charts at a comical amount. 'Forever Is Over' managed two 11's and received two -1's.
Best SOng Ever is easily the best 1D song <3 I do love WMYB and Story Of My Life a lot too though. Love those two Sats songs, but they're probably among their weakest
I really enjoy Get Sexy but only the Keisha version!
What the actual f*** at Best Song Ever being so low :/
Forever Is Over is so underrated
Buzzjack, you have horrible taste.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO I HATE YOU ALL NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
The fact this missed the top 60 is heartbreaking [I actually wouldn't have had a meltdown if this made the top 60]. FOREVER IS OVER IS A GENIUS, MASTERCLASS, MASTERPIECE AMAZING MASTERPIECE and your all just jealous that you didn't sing it #JUSTICEFORFOREVERISOVER
JUST WATCH THE VIDEO:
HOW AMAZING IS THAT MASTERPIECE YOU RANKED IN #61 Below horrid songs like Kiss You. HOW HOW HOW????? And THE VIDEO- Una's lover/over typing, Mollie's chair AND THAT CHORUS- AND THOSE VERSES are life and YOU LOT rank it in #61st
AND LOOK AT QUEEN MOLLIE AND HER #IKONIC CHAIR
http://s89.photobucket.com/user/Blondini_2006/media/MollieKingMollieSaturdaysPNG.png.html
AND THE LYRICS ARE AMAZING:
http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/saturdays/foreverisover.html
So amazing and masterful
And it was a #2 peaking smash When will your faves like higher [more like lower] MANAGE THAT? And how are any of the 60 songs above more iconic and better than this classic
I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS SO LOW. SOMETIMES I DON'T GET YOU ALL. Forever Is Over is a masterpiece gem of a beauty of a track.
To all you haters and people who didn't give it an 11, go and bow down to queen Mollie and EAT SLUGS
JUST LOOK AT THIS GIF:
How much perfection is that WHICH YOU RANKED 61ST
I AM SO UPSET AND GUTTED WITH YOU BUZZJACK. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS
FOREVER IS OVER IS THEIR BEST
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH
Poor Saturdays, losing two of their really good tracks already. Guess they must be on for an almighty flop later on.
It's a shame 'Forever Is Over' is hated this much, it's a great track.
'Just Can't Get Enough' is nowhere near a "really good" track, though.
"Missing You" out next.
Forever Is Over is OVER. FOREVER. x
I MISS MISSING YOU
78. Girls Aloud - Beautiful Cause You Love Me (Average Rating 5.61)
80. Girls Aloud - See The Day (Average Rating 5.51)
Glad WLOH is out, but ok, who voted out LONG HOT SUMMER and the two CLASSSICS??!! Shoulda all been top 20!
I think the actual problem with 'Beautiful Cuz You Say So' is, obviously, the awfully mishandled message of the song (but then Nicola, so obviously) and the fact that...well, it's just not a Girls Aloud song in any shape, if you know what I mean. However, it's not an actual bad song per say either, despite what their fans like to say. The melody to the chorus is actually better than most of their ballads which were always quite shit to be frank. (Untouchable and Call The Shots are midtempos for me okbye)
Here for UV's breakdown
Hurricane, Missing You won't be going anytime soon so you might as well get comfortable. Unfortunately I have a feeling 30 Days with be in the next batch
Whole Lotta History, One Thing, Just Can't Get Enough, How Ya Doin', More Than This (though I'm probably the only person that really loves this for some reason) out already
I MISS MISSING YOU
Can I just say that I'm a little appalled by BuzzJack's general dislike of Whole Lotta History? It's ridiculously unjustified. It's completely gorgeous.
I'M DAMNED IF I DO AND I'M DAMNED IF I DON'T, BUT YOU COST ME SO MUCH LOVE, YEAH > your Suga/Sats/Mix ballad faves tbh.
P.S. The true Queens of the girl group pop ballads are the Spice Girls.
It will be leaving before the top 30 anyway so there you go. Maybe even top 40 if we're lucky.
I can't believe people have probably rated this better than most of their actual good songs.
Ya'll should also participate in the 3rd Edition of our Pointless Game : http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=175661
The only major losses so far are Freedom (which you'll all disagree with), Beautiful Cause You Love Me (ditto) and You and I (for me, the best 1D song).
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA at FOI being so low and UV ha mental breakdown!
Who won the war again Samantha?
Kind of sad to see Just Can't Get Enough leave so early, but y'know it's not as well liked as I had hoped and there's plenty of more amazing tracks above it so I forgive yáll for now
No way is Forever Is Over lower than 30 days and what are you waiting for??? it's one of their best tracks imo
One Direction's lack of vaginas is really showing now. I mean 'Best Song Ever' and 'You & I' out already?
I like 'Freedom', April.
AT LEAST IT'S BETTER THAN f***ING 'MISSING YOU'. BYE.
I've so sick today but UV's breakdown has cured me.
I like 'Freedom', April.
AT LEAST IT'S BETTER THAN f***ING 'MISSING YOU'. BYE.
56. One Direction - Night Changes (Average Rating 6.87)
57. The Saturdays - 30 Days (Average Rating 6.86)
58. One Direction - Steal My Girl (Average Rating 6.80)
59. Little Mix - Little Me (Average Rating 6.65)
60. The Saturdays - What Are You Waiting For? (Average Rating 6.58)
Tonight we're going to party, party, party. I want to see everybody move their body, body, body. Kicking start the top 60 is The Saturdays 'What Are You Waiting For' what was the lead / only single from The Saturdays' greatest hits! Of course '808' would have been #01. 'What Are You Waiting For' peaked at #14 on iTunes and was #10 in the first set of midweeks before finishing at #38. 'What Are You Waiting For' was snubbed by both Capital and Radio 1. 'What Are You Waiting For' only managed two 10's and somehow generated two negative ones.
Little Mix are impressing so far as they've only lost 'Word Up!' and 'Cannonball' which is less than any other artist, take note One Direction & Sugababes. 'Little Me' was the second single from 'Salute' and managed to miss the top 10 in the official charts. 'Little Me' managed one 11 yet surprisingly received three -1. 'Little Mix should not be releasing ballads because they are so incredibly boring.
One Direction managed to do well in avoiding having any songs eliminated in the last but but unfortunately the first single released from their new campaign 'Steal My Girl' can't manage to go in the top 50 in the Buzzjack Group Singles. 'Steal My Girl' also failed to manage to go to #01 in the UK but managed a rather incredible chart run. 'Steal My Girl' managed three 11's which makes it overall position even more surprising, had they avoided their -1 they would have been top 50.
Potato in the trash. I wish I could speed up time till the moment this countdown was finished. '30 Days' peaked at #17 in the radio chart before dropping to #72 the following week. #LifeGoals. '30 Days' is a track that I get mad at because 'Faster' or 'Do What You Want With Me' were not released as singles, but then I hear it and I release that it's actually amazing and such an underrated track. OHHH WOAHHHHH OHHH. '30 Days' managed two 11's (Totto AGOG) and one negative one which majorly cost '30 Days' smashing in the top 50's. The 30 Days video >>>
I've been thinking about you latley, does it drive you crazy that 'Night Changes' missed the top 50? 'Night Changes' is a rather fantastic feel good ballad which deserves more in the official charts and in this rate countdown. I'm still rather bitter that 'Little Things' is one of the lowest One Direction songs but can we please stop with One Direction songs being eliminated so early. 'Night Changes' managed one 11 with its lowest score being ONE 0 . The averages are majorly picking up though.
You're all disgusting. Night Changes is top 10 worthy.
30 Days is their best single NO!
I'll post the next batch early tomorrow morning as I will be out for the whole of tomorrow as my football team (Dundee United) are in a League Cup Final tomorrow against Celtic.
What songs do we predict will be next ?
How many One Direction Songs in the next batch?
Largely god awful batch, 'Little Me' is it's saving grace though, with 'Steal My Girl' to a lesser extent as well.
One Direction Songs that are remaining
- What Makes You Beautiful
- Kiss You
- Story Of My Life
nooooooo steal my girl
no1curss babe.
no1curss babe.
30 Days nooooo
Frankie is not impressed with you!
One of my favourite songs of last summer. I personally love that it's so chanty/repetitive/throw away dance trash!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahdmNS9Nkm0&t=1m26s *.*
I do think a lot of people cooled towards the song when it started to look evident that it would flop, and certainly when it ultimately did flop. I remember initially the reception to it here was very positive!
I really think the main blame of it bombing is the fact it received no support at all. I do believe it had Top 20 potential if at least Capital had shown them their usual support. The fact the single went Top 40 was quite miraculous in light of that.
Look at Pixie and Nicole.
Lay me down and on the rocks had similar Airplay and both bombed much harder.
No losses in that last set of 5
What are you waiting for is good. It's just not excellent. It's no better than 808.
SO Many songs that should have been higher. The biggest travesty is Whole Lotta History. My favourite girl and ballad of all time (behind Viva Forever of course)
Also there's been far too much 1D hate, clearly I'm the only one who loves Gotta Be You. More Than This, Little Things, You & I and Night Changes all deserved better too (clearly I love a ballad)
WAYWF? is dreadful and their worst single of their whole careers, shame they went out with such a mess.
I'm most sad about 30 Days tbh So how many 1D songs are there left?
Apart from 30 Days, all those songs were SHOITE!!
HOW THE HELL ARE 1D GETTING 6.0 AVERAGES FOR ABSOLUTE SHET??!!
Ultraviolence has taken my melt down over Forever is Over, I can rest for now. But I guarantee if FIO made it to the top spot then y'all be loving it!
51. The Saturdays - If This Is Love (Average Rating 7.23)
52. Girls Aloud - Life Got Cold (Average Rating 7.13)
53. Little Mix - Change Your Life (Average Rating 7.13)
54. The Saturdays - Missing You (Average Rating 7.12)
55. One Direction - Kiss You (Average Rating 7)
'Kiss You' finishes at a rather impressive #55 with an impressive rating of 7.0 for a One Direction song. 'Kiss You' felt like a huge song and felt like it should have been much bigger but the music video was rather disappointing. 'Kiss You' did under-perform worldwide with it's chart run not particularly impressive worldwide. 'Kiss You' two 11's but suffered heavily due to it somehow managing two -1.
Where's the pain when Hurricane provided this with so much shade, it still hurts like it used to before, where's the love that me and Hurricane couldn't ignore. Where's the thrill at the end of our fights? I just miss all the love that I made, I miss Missing Hurricane sometimes. Poor 'Missing You' manages an average rating of 7.12 and misses the top 50 due to Hurricane. 'Missing You' which has gained The Saturdays their only radio number one and peaked at #03 despite the song being everywhere. Can we remember the moment on Saturdays 24/7 when Mollie is screaming "WE'RE NUMBER ONE". 'Missing You' deserves to be much higher and is so much better than 'Change Your Life' which is up next. 'Missing You' manged one 11 and I'm sad that I never provided it with a higher mark to at least put it #52. Hurricane you bitch.
Sugababes have now managed two batches in a row without having a song eliminated surprisingly which is such an improvement following them dropping songs left right and center. Showing One Direction how it's done tbh. At #53 we have x-factor winners Little Mix who suffer their fourth casualty in the singles rate with 'Change Your Life' finishing at a respectable #53. 'Change Your Life' missed the UK top 10 but performed rather well here. 'Change Your Life' managed three 11's with it's lowest rate being a 3. I guess now is where it becomes difficult to be high.
YOU COLD BITCHES. 'Life Got Cold' aka Buzzjack got Cold misses the top 50. I've always had a soft spot for 'Life Got Cold' tbh. I actually forget how good the song is until I listen to it. The song is just POP perfection and so much more better than 75% of their discography. The chorus is chilling and the bridges are perfection, it finished a rather disappointing 0.10% behind 'If This Is Love' which is rather disappointing as both songs should be top 50. I feel like I could be saying this about the majority of the songs as we seem to be avoiding the most overrated sugababes tracks. 'Life Got Cold' managed no 11's but avoided any -1.
The final song to miss out on the top 50 is The Saturdays debut single 'If This Is Love'. 'If This Is Love' just missed out on the top 50 and managed to peak in the top 10 in the UK singles. 'If This Is Love' managed five 10's while it also received one -1.
Missing You is awful.
RABBITCANE.
Hurricane rejoices!
If This Is Love is way too high. Always found it quite limp Kiss You on the other hand is pop GOLD.
Life Got Cold is too high.
My Missing You meltdown is coming later.
I'm f***ing howling.
And the fact 'If This Is Love' (which is an actual good song unlike 'Missing You') had a better ranking makes it even more amazing.
It should be #80, ya'll should be GLAD it actually managed #54.
Although, I do think 'Change Your Life' is complete and utter shit as well and not even 'Missing You' is as bad
If This Is Love definitely should have made Top 50!
lmao If This Is Love above Missing You and the latter not in the top 50!
Not ONE good song in the bunch!!
If This Is Love above Life Got Cold, gurl bye.
46. Sugababes - About A Girl (Average Rating 7.39)
47. The Saturdays - Work (Average Rating 7.38)
48. Sugababes - Easy (Average Rating 7.36)
49. Girls Aloud - Wake Me Up (Average Rating 7.27)
50. The Saturdays - Issues (Average Rating 7.25)
Cameron AGOG. Kicking start the top 50 is The Saturdays only smash ballad 'Issues'. 'Issues' was The Saturdays third single and followed 'Up' which is still to come in the chart countdown. 'Issues' is one of The Saturdays most successful singles as it helped shift copies of 'Chasing Lights'. 'Issues' managed six 10's, one 11 and one -1. I'm a little bit surprised that 'Issues' finished at #50 as I thought it would have finished within the top 30.
At 49 we have the energetic track in 'Wake Me Up' no Avicii did not cover 'Wake Me Up'. 'Wake Me Up' peaked at #04 on the official charts which is a rather respectable position. The Saturdays 'Gentleman' obviously used inspiration from the 'Wake Me Up' green screen. 'Wake Me Up' managed one 11 with it being affected with over 5 people not rating the songs which could have caused the song to be higher or lower.
At #48 Sugababes have another single dropping out of the rate with one of their earliest singles 'Easy'. I'm not a massive fan on 'Easy' and I'm surprised that it managed to finish this high and actually defeating a couple of good songs. 'Easy' performed well in the charts and managed to receive seven 10's and one 11.
No Buzzjack No. 'Work' somehow manages to continue the songs being dropped out of the rate by The Saturdays. Can we all please just remember Mollie's iconic "woahhh-ohhh" on Saturday Night Takeaway? 'Work' was originally meant to be the fourth single from 'Chasing Lights' before they agreed to do 'Children In Need'. 'Work' is such an energetic track that deserves to be top #30. 'Work' managed five 10's with its lowest score being two 1's. 'Work' was only 1 out of 2 Saturday songs to miss the top 20 but had it not been for MJ death (rip) it would have managed top 20 comfortably. 'Work' has also outsold singles such as 'Gentleman', '30 Days', 'My Heart Takes Over', 'If This Is Love', 'Not Giving Up' which all got higher peaks.
Finishing at #46 is the iconic nipple slip song from Amelle 'About A Girl'. Poor Buzzjack and it's poor taste for having two anthems being eliminated right next to each other. 'About A Girl' was the second single from the mess of a campaign that was 'Sweet 7' which is THEIR BEST ALBUM. 'About A Girl' managed to peak within the top 10 defeating Britney Spears on release week with both singles missing the top 5. 'About A Girl' managed 7 10's but it's -1 cost it a placing in the top 40.
About a Girl and Issues out!
Easy is the most underrated Sugababes single by a MILE. In my top 5
HEY MR POSTMAN, WHERE'S THE MAIL FOR MY MAILBOOOOOOOOX
I don't get how people can't like About A Girl. It sounds massive to me.
Sugababes - Easy is in my top 3 Sugababes songs It really is underrated and under looked. 'Wake Me Up' is one of my very favourite GA singles too and 'Issues' is also up there with The Sats' best. So it's upsetting to see them as low as they are, but I kind of expected them to be about here. The other two tracks are good, but about right in their places, imo.
I WANNA SEX ON THE BEACH AND I DON'T MEAN ON THE ROCKS
I swear, had I participated, these would be a bit different I believe.
'Work' is a shame as well. Really one of the best from The Sats.
'Wake Me Up' is utterly wonderful, still not tired of it 10 years later.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO I HATE YOU ALL NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
The fact this just scraped the top 50 is heartbreaking [I actually wouldn't have had a meltdown if this made the top 40]. ISSUES IS A GENIUS, MASTERCLASS, MASTERPIECE AMAZING MASTERPIECE and your all just jealous that you didn't sing it #JUSTICEFORISSUES
JUST WATCH THE VIDEO:
HOW AMAZING IS THAT MASTERPIECE YOU RANKED IN #50 Below horrid songs like Easy. HOW HOW HOW????? And THE VIDEO- Una's eyes, Mollie's weave AND THAT CHORUS- AND THOSE VERSES are life STAB OR SLAP and YOU LOT rank it in #50th
AND LOOK AT QUEEN VANESSA WAITING FOR ME AT THE WINDOW
AND THE LYRICS ARE AMAZING:
[url=http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/t/the_saturdays/issues.html[/url]
So amazing and masterful
And it was a #4 peaking smash When will your faves like higher [more like lower] MANAGE THAT? And how are any of the 49 songs above more iconic and better than this classic
I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS SO LOW. SOMETIMES I DON'T GET YOU ALL. Issues is a masterpiece gem of a beauty of a track.
To all you haters and people who didn't give it an 11, go and bow down to queen Vanessa and EAT SLUGS
JUST LOOK AT THIS GIF:
How much perfection is that WHICH YOU RANKED 50TH
I AM SO UPSET AND GUTTED WITH YOU BUZZJACK. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS
ISSUES IS THEIR BEST
There are quite a lot of Saturdays singles out already, jesus.
About A Girl is nice but sounds like a watered down RedOne track. The production on the verses is awful. The chorus and video are solid though.
Cameron
Though how the hell is issues out already, should be top 5/10 here easily
Thank gosh about a girl is out- absolutely terrible and awful track. Glad my -1 stopped it from getting top 40
I'm sure the last time we did something like this The Saturdays did really well and Little Mix didn't, seems to have switched now. Looking at this it reminds me of how good The Saturdays could be though. I'm gutted I missed the voting though.
Nooooo Issues
Issues has grown on me but I don't get how a song causing a lyrical controversy is deemed "perfect"
All the singles in that section deserved more than that.
Lee Britney's 3 was #7 when About A Girl was #8, so Britney defeated them.
Totally mystified that anyone could find AAG "absolutely terrible and awful" because it's a certified "pop banger" in my opinion, but there's no accounting for taste, I guess. At least it's way higher than Forever Is Over, which is the closest The Saturdays came to being absolutely terrible and awful.
50. The Saturdays - Issues (Average Rating 7.25
4 terrible songs above it and WATT!!!
THIS DESERVES TOP 10!!!!
IF NOT TOP 3!!!
#FLOPS!! #THELOT OF YAS!!
'Easy' should be top 10
Lol, no.
Sit down, betch.
Buzzjack have got issues don't know whether I should Stab you or slit you
I DINET UNDERSTAND HOW IT CAME SO LOW!!
I blame Jay.
Easy is better than Issues, there I said it.
Y'all just don't like the fact Rochelle slayed her 'it's swong kong' line
'About a Girl', 'Work' and 'Wake Me Up' are all big losses, all so infectious!
Never got the fuss over 'Issues' (justice for 'Forever Is Over') and 'Easy' has quite cool production but aside from that falls flat.
OI BLAME JAAYYDE!!
41. Girls Aloud - The Loving Kind (Average Rating 7.52)
42. Sugababes - Run For Cover (Average Rating 7.45)
43. The Saturdays - My Heart Takes Over (Average Rating (7.43)
44. Sugababes - Change (Average Rating 7.42)
45. Girls Aloud - The Promise (Average Rating 7.41)
Flopping at #45 is Girls Aloud biggest hit 'The Promise' which gained Girls Aloud their first ever Brit Award. "You're gonna make me, make me love you" is arguably the best line in this overrated song. 'The Promise' was critically acclaimed and managed to smash at #01 and became one of Girls Aloud's biggest singles. 'The Promise' managed to gather eleven 10's, two 11's and two -1's. Eleven 10's so far is the highest that any song has managed but two -1 ensured that 'The Promise' missed the top 30.
Finishing at #44 is the beautiful 'Change' which is so much better than I originally remembered. " Ain't it crazy how you've got your whole life plan only to find out that it was never in your hands". How many people can relate to that? 'Change' managed to peak within the top 5 in the UK Charts as well as managing seven 10's. 'Change' was not rated by 6 members which could have been costly / benefited the single.
What's it going to be are you willingly walking away from this? Poor The Saturdays continue dropping songs like an 808 (which would have managed top 20 rather easy). 'My Heart Takes Over' is such an incredible ballad and it shows as it comfortably managed to defeat 'Issues' (Cameron AGOG). I can't help but think people jamp on the 'My Heart Takes Over' hate bandwagon due to it completely bombing although their opening sales for 'On Your Radar' is more than the combined total of 'Living For The Weekend' and 'Finest Selection'. Oops. 'My Heart Takes Over' managed five 10's and managed three 11's which no other song so far has managed to do.
At #42 we have the AWFUL Sugababes 'Run For Cover' that is all. It somehow managed six 10's. Bye.
Finishing at #41 we have the incredible and underrated Girls Aloud track 'The Loving Kind'. Eventually Nicola Roberts SHINES in a song and provides the best lyric " I'd do anything, sing songs that lovers sing. If I could change your mind then I'm not the loving kind?". Well done Nicola, well done girl! Such an incredible Girls Aloud song and my second favourite behind 'GO GIRLS GO GO GO". 'The Loving Kind' managed six 11's as well as one 11.
My Heart Takes Over!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
MHTO is amazing, but Issues is my fav
Some of Girls Alood's best songs oot??
Ah dinae bekeev et!!!
Never gets old.
(TLK is out way too early )
4/5 of those I do not care for but 'The Promise' departing us! Such a classy and grandeur return to form for GA!
All except for the Promise deserved to go tbh
'My Heart Takes Over' deserved to be top 30 as did 'The Loving Kind'.
NO ONE DIRECTION SONGS AGAIN THOUGH !
The Loving Kind and Change that low?! wut.
The Promise is good but overrated, glad it's not TOO high tbh.
WHAT EEEEEEEEEEEEEES THEEEEEEEEEEES IZ.
Promeees es real music and should be top 10!!
'My Heart Takes Over' should have been top 5 at least xx
Bottom 5 more like.
(OK maybe not THAT low but a fair bit lower than this, especially considering we've lost some 10/10 tracks and MHTO is about 8/10 )
I'm worried about what the Top 20 is going to be at this rate!!
36. Sugababes - Denial (Average Rating 7.73)
37. Little Mix - Wings (Average Rating 7.61)
38. Girls Aloud - Can't Speak French (Average Rating (7.58)
39. Sugababes - Flatline (Average Rating 7.57)
40. Sugababes - Caught In The Moment (Average Rating 7.54)
Thankfully in the next batch Sugbabes flop with three underwhelming songs with 'Caught In The Moment' finishing at #40, 'Flatline' finishing at #39 and 'Denial' finishing at #36. 'Caught The Moment' is the first Sugababes to be eliminated and it's a song that is much better than the other two in this batch. 'Caught In The Moment' managed three 10's and obviously managed to get an advantage with 5 members of the website failing to vote for the song.
At #39 we have Flatline which was the MUCH (lol) anticipated comeback for MKS. The public spoke with the song bombing in the official charts and being released on a Friday to go with their Alan Carr performance, I'm sure had it been released on Sunday it would have also missed the top 40. It's okay Silas, I promise. 'Flatflop' managed four 10's and one 11. 'Flatline' spent one week in the top 100 and it's the last song MKS would release a single under MKS.
Holla Girls Aloud! I hear your problem. I done French for over 5 years and I can also not speak French. 'Can't Speak French' is such a good Girls Aloud track and I'm rather surprised that it finished so low. 'The Loving Kind' is still better and with these comments I realise that I'm indeed a much bigger Girls Aloud stan than I originally thought. 'Can't Speak French' managed six 10's and somehow got one -1.
At #37 we have Little Mix debut single following the X Factor 'Wings' which debuted at #01 in the United Kingdom and was promoted worldwide where it managed a respectable peak in the United States. It still under performed with their heavy promotion not enough to get it top 75. 'Wings' has immensely aged and I'm not surprised it failed to come within the top 30. It is also VEVO CERTIFIED. Wings managed twelve 10's but it's position was heavily dented with two -1.
At #36 we have the song of Iz's life 'Denial'.
Denial is a bit overrated for me but still enjoyable!
WHAT EVEN at Can't Speak French being that low
Wings is so overrated
Denial <3 One of their best for me,
Like all those to an extent, especially Caught In A Moment too which I always thought was very underrated so good to see it top 40, just about!
37. Little Mix - Wings (Average Rating 7.61)
40. Sugababes - Caught In The Moment (Average Rating 7.54)
wat
'Wings' is way too high.
awful results, seeing Run for Cover and Denial that low is disgusting.
those two are the best songs ever recorded by British girl group!
FINAL BATCH OF THE NIGHT COMING AT 11PM <3
I'm waiting
Flop.
Of course, it's Lee.
CAN WE AXE HIM ALREADY????
No way was 'Wings' heavily promoted in the US. Their US management is so abysmal, that I'm surprised it even got as high as it did on the Billboard. Also, it's far too low etc etc, just to counteract all the claims that it's overrated (it's not).
It's shit, though.
EDIT : Okay, it's not. It's a 6/10, which is good for the first album standards, I suppose. Their 2nd album is where it's at. (Well, not all, but mostly)
I really liked Wings when it came out, but then they followed it up with DNA.
That's it
'My Heart Takes Over' higher than I feared it would be! Deserves top 5 for sure, but not surprised it didn't make top 40!
'The Promise' lower than I had anticipated which is pleasing to see. Ridiculously overrated. 'Can't Speak French' is so monotonous and bland though. Didn't deserve to be top 40! Yas for 'Wings' slaying, slightly though and 'Flatline' in about it's correct position as well as 'Caught In A Moment' exceeding expectations.
31. One Direction - Story Of My Life (Average Rating 7.89)
32. Girls Aloud - Jump (Average Rating 7.86)
33. One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful (Average Rating 7.86)
34. Sugababes - Stronger (Average Rating 7.81)
35. Sugababes - Red Dress (Average Rating 7.75)
That's right. One Direction are oooooot. 'Story Of My Life' is their highest charting song with an average rating of 7.89 and missed the top 30 based on more tens.
I have no idea how 'Red Dress' managed to finish so high! 'Red Dress' is such a disappointing track and nowhere near deserving of it's high position in the Buzzjack singles rate. 'Red Dress' was Amelle's debut (Am I correct Jay, you pedantic Nazi?). 'Red Dress' somehow managed to debut at #04 n the official charts (really?). 'Red Dress' managed thirteen 10's with the lowest rate being two 0's. I applaud y'all who gave this a zero because it's nowhere even near as good as what I thought. All this Sugababes dropping out is fab though.
At #34 we have another Sugababes track who are dropping faster than the speed of light (so stand up cause freedom etc).'Stronger' is a strong Sugababes track and rightfully finishes as the 9th highest Sugababes track. 'Stronger' managed to receive four 11's which is so far the highest amount that any song has managed, will another song in this batch be able to manage such an achievement?
The second last One Direction song to be eliminated is their debut single 'What Makes You Beautiful' which managed an impressive average of 7.86. 'What Makes You Beautiful' fully deserved to be top 20 in the Buzzjack singles rate. 'What Makes You Beautiful was the first single to be released following X-Factor and went straight to number one followed by their first live performance on 'Red Or Black'. 'What Makes You Beautiful' managed six 11's which overtakes 'Stronger' record. 'What Makes You Beautiful' was dented through the one zero it received but to have an average rating of almost 8 is seriously impressive.
Another Girls Aloud track drops out at #32 as 'Jump' which was Notoriously used on 'Love Actually' exceeds expectations. Jump is NOT better than 'The Loving Kind'. 'Jump' was a smash for Girls Aloud as it maintained a respectable chart run.
POOR ONE DIRECTION. 'Story of My Life' is One Direction's highest rated song and One Direction managing no songs in the top 30 is rather gutting. 'Story Of My Life' is one of One Directions biggest hits and it's the most well receieved song on Buzzjack. 'Story Of My Life' like 'What Makes You Beautiful' managed six 11's.
Poor One Direction.
Story Of My Life is one of the few really amazing 1D songs
So the first of my faves is out. And people putting 1D in last place SMH.
And I think "Issues" is overrated. #UnpopularOpinion
Jump is amazing, it should be higher
'Story Of My Life' is very nice! Perhaps should have been top 30 even if it would be nice to just see OneDirection have at least ONE song in the top 30! 'Jump' is a great cover version. Not quite sure it deserves to be as high as it is, but I can't say for definite unless I do my own ranking of these songs. 'What Makes You Beautiful' is such a huge grower, so much so that I didn't appreciate it until around the time their second album came out a couple of years ago. 'Stronger' is one of my least favourite Suga singles. I just find it boring. I get that the message of the song is powerful, but as a song it does absolutely NOTHING for me, 'Red Dress' on the otherhand is brilliant! So happy it became a hit for them!
What is left, Lee?!
Wow, What Makes You Beautiful is criminally low. I agree that it should've ended up Top 20 (if not Top 10) and ahead of Story of My Life. Not surprised One Direction flopped so hard in this as their album tracks tend to be stronger than their singles.
'Too Lost In You' and 'Freak Like Me' are so much better than the massively overrated 'About You Now.' Obviously AYN will finish above them unfortunately.
Ugh, the opinions being displayed on this page! I take great exception to the Red Dress slagging off.
Red Dress is one of my favourite Sugababes songs
gROSS OPINIons about right hur, Jay is reet.
OMg what is Jump, a MAASEEV number 2 which BBc Radio 1 referred to simply as 'kalabunga' on hearin et, and Canet Speak French doin so low??
Why are Little Mix and Sugashets doin so well??!!
Yaaaas Something New still in. Loving Kind and Promise out and Love Machine still in though? Ew.
I'd say that was about right for The Saturdays, all their duds are gone.
What Makes You Beautiful and One Thing are basically the same song, right ?
The top 3 songs left by Little Mix is incredibly strong yasss.
Fuming at all of 1D's tracks being out. What a shame. WMYB is one of my favourite songs of all-time. Not even being their highest...
Something New still to come
Red Dress is flawless!
Too Lost in You is probably their equal best song.
Ugly however is not.
Red Dress is average at best
About You Now >>>>> Your life
Denial, Change and Stronger all out too early! Some of my favourite SB tracks... rooting for Freak Like Me and Ugly (unless they've already gone which I hope they haven't cause they're brill) plus The Loving KInd needed to stay
Jump above The Promise and The Loving Kind
Red Dress, Change and Stronger should have all been top 30 too, 3 of Sugababes best imo.
Also Story Of My Life should have been higher but its rightfully their top rated song!
These opinions are hard to read without being like wtf have to remember it's just one persons opinion and 'Red Dress' is really amazing
More than one that things red dress is shit though!
About You Now > Red Dress > every other Sugababes song
About You Now is the most overrated Sugababes single along with Push The Button
Nick, I'm really happy for you and imma let you finish, but About You Now is one of the best songs of ALL TIME!!!
Red Dress is quite bad.
I think Little Mix 'Move' is the most overrated track left to come if I'm honest, never understood it's appeal by those basics.
I like Red Dress, it's sassy!
'About You Now' is a modern day pop classic. It is the epitome of a pop single, imo. It is everything you could want and more in a pop song! Ridiculous melody, catchy, instant, a simple pop structure, anthemic chorus. I actually think it's my favourite song in this whole rate! And I'd say Sugas are my least favourite group of the 5...
'Move' is so different to anything else, even moreso not only for an X Factor act, but for a girl group in general. It was a HUGE risk and it is a ridiculous grower. Still sounds fresh the more you hear it!
29. Sugababes - Overload (Average Rating 7.91)
30. Sugababes - In The Middle (Average Rating 7.89)
Kicking start the top #30 is Sugababes 'In The Middle' which is a strong single in their singles record. 'In The Middle' managed a respectable UK Chart position in the top 10 and has became one of Sugababes most signature singles. 'In The Middle' managed eight 10's with five people refusing to rate the track. I wish I could discuss former Sugababes singles further but I just don't know much about the irrelevant 'In The Middle' and 'Overload' which finished with an impressive average rating of 7.91. I'm just amused how these two tracks managed to beat such legendary songs such as 'The Loving Kind' and 'My Heart Takes Over'.
Neither of them are huge losses, especially this high up!
Nice seeing "In The Middle" so high!
But let's be honest, when 1D got out first, so did Buzzjack's taste.
I'm surprised both finished as high but I'm guessing both benefited from not being rated by everybody.
Girls Aloud have the most singles left in the rate by having one ahead of The Saturdays and two ahead of Sugababes who are dropping songs left right and center.
Lee, 'In The Middle' only peaked at #8 (I also, personally wouldn't say it was one of their signature tracks, but that might just be me ). I liked ITM at the time, although looking back it's just a nice little pop number, that's it really. Not sure it deserved top 30, but eh, there could be worse songs.
'Overload', although I appreciate how different it was at the time, I'm not into serious and moody pop songs as much as I am the joyous, outright pop singles. On merit it probably deserves this position, but for my own personal ranking, far too high.
27. Sugababes - Ugly (Average Rating 7.98)
28. Girls Aloud - No Good Advice (Average Rating 7.97)
Finishing at #28 is Girls Aloud 'No Good Advice' which just falls short of an average rating of 8. 'No Good Advice' peaked at #02 in the UK charts (right Jonjo?) and smashed at #88 in the Australian charts. 'No Good Advice' finishing at #28 was a major shock as I expected it to quite easily finish in the top 20. 'No Good Advice' managed eight 10's but the -1 proved to be costly and a deciding factor as to why 'Good Advice' missed the top 25.
If I'm ugly then so are you. 'Ugly' was one of the songs that made me realise that Sugababes were actually half decent, can we all remember how beautiful Mutya child in this is though? 'Ugly' smashed worldwide managing to peak top 15 in Australia, Top 5 in Denmark, Top 5 in New Zealand and #3 in the United Kingdom. I'm surprised that 'Ugly' missed the top 20 if I'm being honest as it such an iconic Sugababes track. 'Ugly' managed seven 10's and one 11.
That's all songs now at an average of 8 and The Saturdays and Girls Aloud have the same amount of songs left now
Ugly is very underrated I think! This position seems about right for it though tbh. No Good Advice is actually one of my least fave GA singles (still amazing though of course).
'In The Middle' is an absolute BANGER, my second fave Sugas song *.* 'Red Dress' also a TUNE.
Two quite big losses there too, 'No Good Advice' is so nostalgic for moi and was so innovative for a girl-group, still sounds fab. The electric guitar usage also *.*
Ugly is definitely one of my fave Sugababes songs, I feel it gets too much hate. No Good Advice is probably in the middle of GA's singles for me but it's very very good!
Ugly is overrated and definitely didn't deserve to be this high, but at least it's out now. I'm not sure I can dignify the fact that it's above No Good Advice with a polite response.
2 more songs at half past tbh x
WE HAVE A BANGER COMING OOT.
25. The Saturdays - Not Giving Up (Average Rating 8.1)
26. Girls Aloud - Something Kinda Oooh (Average Rating 8.02)
This surprised me more than anything. 'Something Kinda Ooooh' I felt was going to easily be top 10 and a contender after the first 10 votes. [10-10-9-11-10-7-10-7-10-11-9-10-10-10]. Poor 'Something Kinda Ooooh"' only managed to peak at #03 in the UK charts. 'Something kinda Ooooh' managed 11 10's and two 11's which is incredibly impressive. 'Something Kinda Oooh' is only 0.2% behind the top 20 that's how close the following songs are.
Got me on overload, i'll be your rock of gold can we get overdosed on love? Princess Frankie knows the script and she knew from the off go that 'Not Giving Up' was a single that deserved to be realeased. Poor Rochelle , Una and Vanessa supporting 'Leave A Light On' which would have been an #01 smash tbh. 'Not Giving Up' failed to enter the airplay chart and was only played by Marvin on Capital as well as being their first song being snubbed by radio 1. I always find it upsetting that had 'Not Giving Up' been released instead of 'Gentleman' The Saturdays would still be releasing pop classics as 'Not Giving Up' would have smashed on airplay following 'What About Us'. 'Not Giving Up' peaked at #19 in the UK Charts despite managing to be top 10 in the midweeks (smash). 'Not Giving Up' managed 12 10's, two 11's and somehow was rated -1 by a really really shit poster.
Something Kinda Ooooh should be top 10 :/
Oh my gosh what a fabulous set of two. :'(
What the actual Eff. SKO is a pop jam and a half! I really am disappointed by it's performance here. It should have been an easy top 10 victory. 'Not Giving Up' is the song that's "good, but overrated by fans" in The Saturdays' back catalogue for me (similar to 'No Good Advice'/'Round Round'). I remember being obsessed with 'Ugly' at the time of release. It's such a good pop song! Probably in about it's rightful place in the countdown though tbh.
'Not Giving Up' is good but nothing spectacular. It's similar to 'Salute' imo, in the sense that it would've fared a hell of a lot better chart-wise if it was released as the second single, rather than post-album (although obviously 'Salute' did do quite decently regardless).
I'm glad Little Mix still have their 3 remaining, but I imagine they'll all be out quite soon. Hoping 'Move' is their highest, but I imagine 'DNA' will get that honour, since it seems to be held in much higher regard here (it's actually probably my least favourite of their singles, bar 'Little Me' and 'Cannonball').
Something kinda oooh is amazing- it should be higher
Happy to see Not Giving Up end up Top 25. I'm surprised Notorious isn't out yet.
WHAT THE HELL??
WHERE YO TASTE AT??
NOT GIVING UP SHOULD BE TOP 20
EEEEEEEEEES THIS.
Well the best song isn't even Top 25... well done, BuzzJack!
23. Little Mix - Salute (Average Rating 8.18)
24. Girls Aloud - Love Machine (Average Rating 8.16)
Girls Aloud released a song dedicated to me called 'Love Machine'. 'Love Machine' is the definition of fun pop and is a song that I expected to be in the top 20. 'Love Machine' was unfortunate to only peak at #02 in the Buzzjack Single Rate. 'Love Machine' managed to gather seven 10's and an impressive amount of two 11's. 'Love Machine' is pure pop and could have been affected that two people failed to vote.
In #23 we have Little Mix 'Salute'. I'm not a massive fan of Little Mix but they set the standards so high with 'Salute'. It's their best video by a mile and their best live performance by a mile. 'Salute' would have flopped so hard had it not been for BGT as it was bottom #40 on iTunes failing to peak inside the top #30. The song itself and routine is incredible which is why the public purchased 'Salute' to put it top 6 in the official charts. 'Salute' is so in your face and is a song that you can't dislike. 'Salute' managed eleven 10's and three 11's.
'Love Machine' something quite different sounding for them, I remember in a documentary them saying it would be quite risky to release it. Well I'm glad they did, fabuloso song *.*
I actually kind of disliked 'Salute' for a long while, but they won me over a bit with the video, then a lot with the BGT performance! Love it now.
Kind of worried that all the remaining GA/Suga/Mix singles are going to fall before the majority of the rest of the Saturdays singles.
I've always struggled with Notorious's total lack of chorus. And Move needs to go NOW.
There's a batch where I'm just like....
Salute is quite overrated imo, it's great but probably only like my 5th fave on the album or something (Move > Towers > Competition > Nothing Feels Like You > These Four Walls tbh).
'Salute' is shit.
Then again all the singles were from that era.
'Love Machine' was good at the time, but it got old and boring fast. It's overrated. (Decent, but overrated)
'Salute' should have slayed HARDER. But top 25 in a rate of about 92 songs and on a forum that's very GA/Sats stans heavy, it's an achievement! <3 Hope 'Move' and 'DNA' can get their way into the top 20 and don't fall out next though (which I'm expecting for some reason - at least one of them!)
Salute is amazing, one of LM's best. That PERFORMANCE *.*
Love Machine is a pop song and a half not bored of it to this day.
I'd say Salute's position is fair! Would most likely be lower on my personal rank of all of these singles.
Call The Shots for #1
We need to talk about Salute right here. It's too damn low
Salute is amazing, I don't know what you guys are having right now, but here is some common sense for you to enjoy.
Salute is one of their best but still not deserving to be this high up. I hope Move fails to make the top 20!
Also Something Kinda Ooooh should have been top 20!
Love machine out Pop classic and deserved to be top 10
I also love salute though it should have probably gone out earlier
In The Middle, Ugly, Overload, Something Kinda oooh all should have been in top 20
Overload is a top 5 (or maybe 10)s ong, top 20 is to low.
Overload is overrated. The Sugababes have released at least a dozen singles better than it.
Overload is wayyyyy too high!!
21. Girls Aloud - Untouchable. (Average Rating 8.24)
22. Sugababes - Push The Button (Average Rating 8.23)
No Buzzjack No. 'Push The Button' is arguably one of the best songs that Sugababes released. 'About You Now', 'Push The Button' and 'Round Round' It did surprise me that 'Push The Button' missed the top 20 as it's such a universally well liked track although finishing with an average of 8.23 is still incredibly impressive. 'Push The Button' was released in 2005 but still sounds as fresh 10 years later. It peaked at #03 in Australia, #2 in Germany, #1 in New Zealand and managed to peak at #01 in the United Kingdom. How did they do so well worldwide but performed so poor in USA?
The final song to miss the top 20 is Girls Aloud 'Untouchable' which was the first Girls Aloud song to miss the top 10 in the UK official charts and even a campaign later to put it top 10 put the song at around #222 on iTunes. 'Untouchable' was their lowest charting single behind 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me' which was a SMASH #97 hit. 'Untouchable' managed fourteen 10's and three 11's *.* The lowest mark for 'Untouchable was one zero followed by one two. 'Untouchable' is such a good track and better than 70% of Girls Aloud singles. Poor Untouchable.
I thought Something New would be out next, glad it's still in Push the Button should be top 20 though
Untouchable is amazing but a little high tbh...
kind of shocked those 2 are so high
"Hole In The Head" top 20
Oh no! So many fantastic songs have missed the Top 20. Although obviously not everything can make it in.
Can we have a list of what will be coming in the Top 20, Lee?
20. The Saturdays - Notorious (Average Rating 8.29)
'Don't Hold Back It's nice to see somebody make an effort' screeches Rochelle. It's such a great opening line (ignoring robotollie). I remember hearing 'Notorious' through Amazon putting the clip up by accident. 'Notorious' always sounded like a smash in the making and following 'Headlines' it seemed that their next single would be their first #01. How could The Saturdays f*** it up? How couldn't they tbh?. 'Notorious' was released On Air / On Sale and went top 10 with high sales (we would kill for them being relevant enough to do that). I fully believe that 'Notorious' would have been #01 had it been held back but it's still impressive that it managed 200,000 sales and a peak of #07 (why not #08? ). 'Notorious' spent the majority of the time on sale for 59p which allowed the single to hang around the charts and spending an impressive amount of weeks in the top 40. 'Notorious' also smashed at #164 in South Korea and peaked at #14 on Spanish iTunes. 'Notorious' managed ten 10's and three 11's with the lowest score for 'Notorious' being one 0 and one 6. Slayorious.
FAAAAAAAR TOO LOW
'Push the Button'
One 0? I thought this was universally liked?
Well it's middle ground for me out of their stellar discography but still
Can't believe Push The Button missed the Top 20!
Quite surprised that Notorious ended up so high. So many superior tracks went before it, but I guess it really has stood the test of time and sounds fresh to this day.
How did 'Push The Button' miss the top20?!
19. The Saturdays - Disco Love (Average Rating 8.36)
Oh is it love that's in the air? Baby Baby Baby. 'Disco Love' was released as the lead single for 'Flopping For The Weekend' and surprised almost everyone with strong opening sales and managing a peak of #05 despite limited airplay. 'Disco Love' was promoted rather well on Paul O Grady, Surprise Surprise, This Morning, Sunday Brunch and the iconic This Morning. 'Disco Love' in typical Sats fashion bombed the following week but had it been released the week before it would have went at least #01 on iTunes meaning it would have been interesting to see where 'Disco Love' would have ended up had it went to #01 on Itunes and if radio would have pushed it more. Poor Floppy Love. 'Disco Love' managed 9 10's, three 11's with it's lowest score being one 4.
Forgot that was still to come tbh Perhaps a little too high but still fabulous!
Untouchable and Notorious!
THE NEXT THREE SONGS
I PROMISE.
TEARS WILL BE SHED.
BLOOD WILL BE LOST.
WHAT EEEEEEEEEES THIS.
I'm surprised this is as high as it is. It's one of their latest, so I thought it would have taken some time.
I take it there's going to be some bias towards The Sats in these results?
18. Girls Aloud - Something New (Average Rating 8.39)
GO JOSEPH, NO, NO, NOOOO! BUZZJACK ARE GONNA RUN THIS SHOW. Nadine is the leader of the pack etc. Somehow finishing at #18 is the best Girls Aloud single 'Something New' which managed to peak top #3 in the official charts before freefalling rather fast. Girls Aloud's return was so half arsed why did they even bother? They had this track though and it's nothing short of glorious. 'Something New' is pop and is something what we need more of. Upbeat anthems that make you lose control let it go! 'Something New' managed thirteen 10's and four 11's.
#17 is quite a fair average ahead of #18 so this is where it all gets difficult.
18 is about right for Something New. Such a jam!
The best song of all-time. Disappointed.
The Teen Wolf theme song tbh
Disco Love and Notorious should have been top 10, what is this shit.
BYE.
Poor Disco Love and Something New
Disco Love is nowhere as good as Notorious.
RIP Something New
17. The Saturdays - All Fired Up (Average Rating 8.64)
'We Make The Party, Super Naughty!'. Finishing at #17 (I see all you haters doing a Rochelle and cracking open the bubbly) is Saturday's most danciest song yet 'All Fired Up'. 'All Fired Up' was the first Saturdays single to go to #01 on iTunes which resulted into major celebrations, bubbly being cracked open and Pixie Lott's 'All About Tonight' to overtake them 15 minutes later following her 'All About Tonight' performance on 'Red Or Black'. It would have been interesting to see where The Saturdays would have been had 'All Fired Up' been promoted on Red Or Black that night? They would have at least managed 80,000 opening week sales which would be for sure. Had they released the week before 'All Fired Up' would have had enough sales to go #01. 'All Fired Up' went 3-4-15 poor flops. 'All Fired Up' managed 14 tens and six (i wrote that as sex oops) 11's which has broken the current record. 'All Fired Up' would have been top 10 had Jahq not trolled and provided it with a -1.
WUT? All Fired Up should be top 10!
NO, is this real life ?
Oh my god :/ that should be top 10 too. Ughhhhh. Damn you Jack.
Jahq
WHAT'S GOING ON I'M SCARED!
I WILL CUT SOMEBODY.
Here lies Buzzjack ever saying they have taste.
Slayberry.
16. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us (Average Rating 8.66) (So close to #15 )
BARANG BARANG BARANG. I'm going to sing because the last five songs (4/5 of Saturdays) have been incredible and this is like my fav. Whatever the weather Buzzjack are awful, you're whats up babe. What about Wall? I've been watching and waiting why don't you give it or take it,so what's up buzzjack? where is your taste. Watchya doing to my head? na na na na na na. 'What About Us' stormed to #01 on Itunes early Sunday morning with their EP being #01 also (Sats ha domination). 'What About Us' was a song that went top #100 in Canada, New Zealand and managed to go top 100 On Australian iTunes and peaked at #102 on American iTunes. Rochelle ruined The Sats... we know she did. She got pregnant = no justin bieber tour / no more promotion. 'What About Us' deserves better than #16 and i'm f***ing mourning your shit taste in music. EAT SLUGS. 'What About Us' only managed two 11's with it's lowest score being one six. Ew. Raging. What About Us?
omfg. Little Mix's trash beating the classics. (no offense to Little Mix fans)
I REALLY f***ING CANT.
SOMETHING NEW, ALL FIRED UP AND WHAT ABOUT US OUT IN A ROW. WATCHYA DOING TO MY HEAD?
Y'ALL NEED YOUR EARS f***ED TESTED BECAUSE THERE'S SO MUCH SHIT ABOVE SUCH CLASSIC SONGS.
BYE.
Controversial results tbh
Cos you've been watching me, yeah wherever I go
yeah cos you're a criminal yeah deep down to the core
I know you aint seen nothing, nothing like this before
You know like I know you should be giving it up.

Freak Like Me
Round Round
About You Now
Hole In The Head
DNA
Move
Disco love is amazing and a 10/10 moment but around where it should be, something new is great but a bit too high and that all fired up didn't make the top 10. THE WORST IS THE AMAZING PUSH THE BUTTON MISSING THE TOP 10 LET ALONE TOP 20 These results are going so badly for me
Biology/ About You Now/ Move/ Ego/ Sexy No No for top 5 please (though it should be forever is over, biology, I'll stand by you, issues, about you now)
WHATEVER THE WEATHER MY ARSE.
Disco Love is top 10 worth, What About Us is decent, Notorious and All Fired Up are average.. Way to high..
While we're at it let's make Higher no.1, buzzjack know how to ruin everything.
"Too Lost In You" is pretty average, I'm surprised it made top 15.
WHY THE HELL ARE HIGHER, CALL THE SHOTS AND ESPECIALLY TOO LOST IN YOU STILL HERE TAHTS JUST HORRIBLE. Higher and call the shots are ok but I prefer so much of the rest of their discography and too lost in you is awful Round Round should also be gone by now
Want:
1. Biology

14. Too lost in you
15. Round round
G'WON LM.
I'm reveling a bit in all the overrated Saturdays' tracks falling like flies (apart from 'Disco Love', which is sublime). 'All Fired Up' is just utter piss.
Higher is also overrated no ?
Hole In The Head, Too Lost In You, Round Round, Freak Like Me and Sexy No No No would be perfect top 5
This is utter shit.
All Fired Up, Notorious, Disco Love, Something New, What About Us > God > You
Am I the only one who thinks 'Notorious' is terrible and shouldn't be anywhere near the top 20?! I seriously don't get it.
This is utter shit.
All Fired Up, Notorious, Disco Love, Something New, What About Us > God > You
omg yes at The Show // Biology // Call the Shots slaying.
15. Girls Aloud - Call The Shots (Average Rating 8.66)
Yes Buzzjack. 'Too Lost In You' have managed to defeat 'Call The Shots' which is easily the BEST Girls Aloud track on this singles countdown and I have no idea how it managed to miss the top 10. These results have been nothing short of awful. Buzzjack. I hate you. WHAT EEEES THIS. 'Call The Shots' manages eleven 10's and five 11's but was damaged through it's two 0's.
It could only get better? Right?
Now that IS a shock I expected it top 5!
IMMMMAAAAAANOUUUUTLAAAAWWWRRRRRRRR
I find it a bit disheartening to see people slagging off 'Too Lost In You'... it's stunning.
Ugh just noticed 'Call The Shots' at #15, these results are so, so ridiculous.
First good shock of arguably the whole thing
Call the shots just got ruined for me by my primary school which made us sing it out of tune every week so I found it unbearable because of this for years. I am starting to like it again but it should still be nowhere near this high
Too lost in you next please.
How is Move ahead of all these!? Awful.
Call The Shots is pop perfection
Conclusion:
Girl group singles should never be mixed together
Certain BuzzJack members shouldn't have their votes counted (Jahq I see you and your -1 xx)
#JAHQOUT
Move is ahead because Little mix have like 8 singles compared to the other's which is why they gain more points
'Move' deserves all the praise, but I don't understand how 'DNA' is still there. It's amazing, don't get me wrong, but it should have went with all the other amazing songs that were already leaving when we entered the top 40. I mean.......
It's so predictable that songs like 'Ego', 'Up' and 'Higher' would be The Saturdays top 3 in this. Big YAWN. (Pretty much the same thing with Little Mix's top 3, but that was okay as these were genuinely their top 3 songs)
I already feel like Sugababes's were a bit more of a shock. Girls Aloud, not so much, but 'Call The Shots' leaving the first out of the last 5 is interesting.
Petition for this rate to be called SCREEEEECH *.*
Something New way too high. Overrated isn't the word tbh.
Someone had to balance out the ridiculous OTT love for it ~
Disgusted at Disco Love and All Fired Up not being top 10 though Even worse, DL lower than Something Shit.
at the likes of 'Move' (which really is f***ing awful) placing above perfection like 'Disco Love' and 'Call the Shots'.
Oh thank god Untouchable, All Fired Up and Something New (but particularly the latter) are out, they're way overrated - and that's a nicer way of saying 'crap'. Now only Sexy needs to go and all the songs remaining will be acceptable.
Although Call The Shots as low as 15th isn't so great, it's one of the best things GA ever did (and I see the best thing they've done is also out, poor Love Machine).
Omg didn't realise Sexy was still in *.* GA's second best behind Biology, always thought it was more hated than this!!
all fired up beaverhousen feels alive
whatever the weather
I'm worried about many of you. Some of these "opinions" are being thrown about so recklessly though.
Thank goodness for Joseph, the purveyor of excellent taste!
I like 'DNA' and all but it's grossly overrated on this forum. It's quite basic when put up against many of the songs included in this rate. The fact it's ahead of some genuinely better Sugababes/Saturdays/Girls Aloud songs is a bit "eh" but... this is BuzzJack. I should expect stuff like this. 'Move' is superior, but is in great danger of outstaying its welcome too.
14. Girls Aloud - The Show (Average Rating 8.71)
I must admit I was completely surprise to see 'The Show' so high as before hand I forgot what the song even was until I heard it over while doing the singles rate. 'The Show' is the second consecutive Girls Aloud song to be eliminated following 'Call The Shots', Poor Jay must be devastated with the last four eliminations / potential winner . 'The Show' peaked at #67 in Australia while achieving a #02 peak in the United Kingdom and a #05 pea in Ireland. I must admit that doing this rate has made me appreciated Girls Aloud much more because they've got so much more tunes than I first thought. 'The Show' managed fifteen 10's and six 11's. (dead) and despite achieving such high scores it finishes at Wall's favourite number #14.
Move & DNA are better than ~some~ GA/Suga/Saturdays singles!! But not the vast majority, oh no sir!

Oh I see Jay bringing up his personal chart runs
Compared to many of the songs in this rate I do think 'DNA' sounds a bit cheaply produced. I find the repetitiveness and production quite boring tbh now that the dust is settled and it's been around for a couple of years.
These results are very give and take. Pleased that "Push The Button" missed the top 20, rather annoying (ditto "Something Kinda Oooh"). "Too Lost In You" is where it's at.
I've decided the 14-20 is actually the results in 4-10.
SKO in 26th place is still killing me a bit.
Most likely, I know Jak would have placed a pesky -1 next to that title. !
Jay and I to make a combined ranking and use that as the official one tbh.
How about... no. You don't need to overhype 'Something New' more than it's already being hyped, k thnx xx
---
P.s. Basic pop >>>> generic dance-pop (Hence why 'DNA' >>>> most of those faves, tbh)
DNA is a poor man's ET.
Jonjo you're very mean sometimes x
omg Jay I thought that was Jessie J in your sig insteadof Victoria
!! Poor Victoria!
'DNA' is great, especially the middle 8. However, the 'nothing more to say' lyric is so lazy and bugs me everytime I hear it
DNA is fab and probably my 3rd favourite Little Mix track (behind How Ya Doin'? and Salute) but it is definitely too high here for me
Ah well. Read it and WEEP that it is higher than 'Something Poo'!
Ok I've missed Loads. So many Girls Aloud songs that should be higher. I also don't know how Move is this high. Sexy No No No best be top 10!
More like WRONG OPINION of the year
Jonjo hush peasant
#jaysephcane
No.
13. Little Mix - Move (Average Rating 8.71)
Girls Aloud Stans, Saturday stans can relax a little as we eventually have another Little Mix single dropping out leaving them with 'DNA'. Does 'Move' deserves to finish at #13? Is it overrated? Little Mix's performance in the singles rate has seen a lot of people disagreeing. I do think 'Move' and 'DNA' are worthy of top 20 but then I see it beating songs like 'Something New', 'All Fired Up' and 'What About Us' and i'm like no baby no. 'Move' debuted with people pointing out that it sounded like 'Blurred Lines' (sue them for 7.5m robin). 'Move' struggled at first to gather hype until the video premiered and they slayed with their x factor performance. 'Move' went top 20 in Japan and peaked at #03 in the UK. 'Move' managed thirteen 11's and eight 10's.
I predict a ROAR (feat Katy Perry) following the song at #12.
"Move" is by far and away their best single. Shouldn't be lower than "DNA".
I would prefer 'Move' above 'DNA'. The latter is extremely overrated on this site.
Right, that does it. Results over.
Move needed to win. Or at least be the best LM single, come on!
Move should not be out.
DEESGUSTIN.
12. Girls Aloud - Sexy No No No (Average Rating 8.74)
EEEEK. I don't think this is going to be a popular result. I know 'Sexy No No No' is one of the most popular tracks on the Girls Aloud forum and I expected it to finish in the top 5. I was thinking that it was going to win until a certain IZ -1 the single. [10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-11-9.5-10-10-10-10-11-9-8-10-10--1] Look at that run, the negative one easily affected 'Sexy No No No' who were in within touching distance of the top 10. The results are so close right now with the winner managing 9.19 so 'Sexy No No No' without the -1 could have managed to provide a challenge. 'Sexy No No No' is in my top 5 Girls Aloud tracks so I'm rather disappointed to see so many Sugababes (Too Lost In You) defeat such a euphoric pop track.
I think we all need to remember we all have different opinions!
Bit gutted Move is out before DNA BUT SEXY NO NO NO
Iz
Don't care, it remains awful.
I'm alright with that result. 'Move' should have been above it.
The fact Sexy! No No No isn't the highest GA track
I remember SALIVATING for the new Girls Aloud single after the first Greatest Hits era. I hadn't long finished my GCSEs when it premiered. I literally spent ALL DAY listening to my dodgy recording, complete with intro from Kimberley
'Hi I'm Kimberley from Girls Aloud and this is our brand new single 'Sexy! No No No...', hope you like it Chris, bye!'
And then THAT INTRO SLAYED MY LITTLE GAY HEART
Oh no, Sexy!No No No is A-MA-ZING and Move is miles above DNA...What is this.
We may have different opinions, BUT YA'LL WRONG.
I still don't understand 'Move's appeal
Sexy No No No is good at the start, then it's not imo.
Fun sucker here
TLIY is one of my fave Suga tracks so I'm chuffed for that.
TLIY seems to have come from nowhere as it's never seemed incredibly popular on the site and has received a bit of hate in here! I love it, it's pretty stunning, but it's not Top 10 worthy for me.
A shame to see Move out, which is my favourite Little Mix single ahead of Wings. (I'd place DNA in 3rd btw )
Sexy! missing the Top 10 is very " "
Flop results tbh.
DNA is so much better than Move. I can see why it's higher and sad to see Sexy No No No miss the top 10, one of the only GA tracks I like
15. Call The Shots
12. Sexy! No No No
11. Sugababes - Round Round (Average Rating 8.78)
The final song missing the top 10 is one of Sugababes most iconic songs 'Round Round'. 'Round Round' along with 'Freak Like Me' were the first Sugababes songs that I heard. 'Round Round' is easily one of the best things Sugababes have released and as it finished 0.1% behind the top 10. 'Round Round' done well worldwide as it peaked top 20 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Ireland, New Zealand and peaked at #01 in the United Kingdom. 'Round Round' managed thirteen tens with one person somehow failing to rate the song.
'Sexy...No No No' is INCREDIBLE, so energetic and yet again an innovative way of changing up their style. In fact, my second favourite GA track after 'Biology'. 'Round Round' also fab.
Sexy No No No is my 2nd fave GA song as I said, but I thought it'd be much lower Very glad it's not. Same top 2 as Jade actually, both tracks really stick out as innovative and a change but still very Girls Aloud and neither track could really performed by any other act. Round Round is easily one of my favourite Sugababes singles, it's perfect pop really and alongside Sound Of The Underground (and their own Freak Like Me too) is probably the defining girl group song on the early 00s.
byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
HOLE IN THE HEAD TOP 10
I prefer Move to DNA. But neither deserve top 10 placings in my opinion.
Call The Shots being out so early disgusts me.
TOP 10 PREDIX TBH
What's left?
The Saturdays
Up
Ego
Higher
Girls Aloud
Sound Of The Underground
Biology
Sugababes
Freak Like Me
About You Now
Hole In The Head
Too Lost In You (Not Even joking)
Little Mix
DNA
Sexy! is way too low yet again.
DNA and Too Lost In You need to GO AWAY.
I would only say 'DNA' and 'Ego are not top 10 worthy of those, so hopefully they will go quite early on in the top 10.
Too Lost In You....
That song is pure class A, the others could never
HIGHER >>>>>>>>>>>.
Why has Totto not been banned yet tbh, these opinions are disgraceful.
Although I don't think Too Lost In You should be Top 10, I can't believe so many of you dislike it?
Only two of the Top 10 being Girls Aloud? Tsssk. Surprised to see Sugababes having the most songs in the Top 10.
Can't deny those three Saturdays songs, they're all perfect imo. I just wish Notorious/All Fired Up & What About Us placed higher as well.
I think DNA and Up will go soon.
I quite dislike Up tbh
WHY THE HELL IS TOO LOST IN BLOODY YOU STILL HERE????
A lot of Non-Sats-Fans seem to love it.
I think Ego will go before 'Up'? 'Higher' will probably be their highest charting single on this.
I hope 'DNA' goes first though as it overstayed its welcome.
'Hole In The Head' to be the Sugababes highest song.
10. The Saturdays - Up (Average Rating 8.79)
Surprised? 'Up' scrapes the top 10 in the Buzzjack Group Singles Rate despite a lot of people predictating that it would overwhelmingly flop despite The Saturdays members having a fairly low opinion of 'Up'. As much as I'm not the biggest 'Up' fan I appreciate how much it did for The Saturdays. It would be interesting to see where The Saturdays would have been three years into lifes as popstars had they chosen not to release 'Up' as the second single. 'Up' scarily did not even have the best airplay and it peaked at #02 on iTunes but was pushed down to songs that were not even funny and x-Factor. 'Up' managed an impressive four 11's and twelve 10's.
Bye UP.
Up is overrated, it's a solid pop song and great for starting their career though.
Up out
Their ACTUAL debut single
Thank God this is out now.
What did Up chart behind?
Geraldine Mcqueen & Leon Jackson I believe ?
'Up'/'Call The Shots'/'Move' being this low tho. No.
'Up' remains the best Saturdays single, so of course a number of Sats fans would dislike it/find it overrated, lol~
Calling a win for 'Ego' in this (or something as equally decentish-but-not-great)
09. Sugababes - Hole In The Head (Average Rating 8.86)
WHAT THE ACTUAL f*** BUZZJACK. How could this be the FOURTH highest Sugababes single????? 'Hole In The Head' is such a classic track and deserves all the success it managed'. 'Hole In The Head' was the Sugababes song that made me realise that I actually liked them so to see it finish at #09 is rather sad. 'Hole In The Head' managed fifteen 10's and it slayed worldwide. 'Round Round' managed top 20 in Australia, Italy, New Zealand, Belgium and not surprisingly it managed another #01 in the UK. 'Hole In The Head' also managed top 100 in USA. SLAY ME.
Definitely don't understand the hate that 'Up' gets in this forum section, it's absolutely one of their best... thank goodness it got this high!
Round Round came 11th though? (0 )(0 )
oops.
Ahh it's Hole In The Head! One of the Sugababes' best ever songs.
No Hole In The Head :/
Ugh, these results are shit.
P.S. Has Too Lost In You won tbh
ERM no. 'Hole in the Head' should be Top 3 at least.
08. Sugababes - Too Lost In You (Average Rating 8.87)
Hallelujah! Far too high!
Up is great and feels so underrated nowadays and hole in the head is ok.
Biology to win
even though it probably shouldn't have come this high up in the results, I nevertheless do love Too Lost In You (and seems a lot of us do even though a lot of hate is being aimed at it). It's such a beautiful track!
OH THANK GOSH TOO LOST IN YOU IS OUT
What an awful song, don't know how it came top 10 let alone top 70
NO!
'Hole In the Head' is so good! How it's finished below the shit and overrated 'Freak Like Me' and 'Too Lost In You', I will never know! I can maybe sort of understand 'Freak', but TLIY? Really? Really, REALLY? :\
'Up' is a great pop song. Not one of my favourite Sats songs or singles, but it's one of their signature hits! YASSS at 'DNslAy' still to come *.* (Although I do wonder how different these results would be had it been just ONE 11 throughout the whole rate! )
EDIT: TLIY is so dull. The chorus is ridiculously monotonous and bland. It's only saved by the ad-libs at the end tbh.
I CAN'T AT ANY OF YOU
Yaaaaaaaas Too Lost In You. Flawless.
Hoping Ego, Higher, or About You Now will snag #1. I love DNA but it's not worthy of a Top 5 position.
the girls aloud tracks need to go now and if the sats don't win, freak like me should. goodbye
07. Girls Aloud - Biology (Average Rating 8.89)
Yes Girls Aloud fans y'all only have 'Sound Of The Underground' left as 'Biology' crashes out at #07. 'Biology' peaked at #26 in Australia and flopped in the UK as it peaked at #04. I don't really rate 'Biology' and think that it doesn't deserve to be top 20 never mind top 10 and close to top 5 but the average rating does not lie (it does really). 'Biology' managed six 11's and fourteen 10's.
WE HAVE A MASSIVE SONG COMING NEXT
Hole In The Head, Up and especially Biology out already..... Rest of the results are null and void tbh.
Biology! Same it's behind Sound of the Underground.
Fine with that elimination to be honest ~ excited for #6!
