He got a bit too cocky probably did Aston. Although it's the public's choice who they want to vote.

Yeah I found him really hard to like, a couple of solid weeks and he was acting like he'd already won. That made it satisfying to him end up being the inevitable shock elimination laugh.gif

I think that Shirley has sent out a message that says that even if you have produced good dances before, she isn't afraid to send you home if you aren't good enough in the dance off.

Originally I was annoyed by the decision but it make perfect sense. Didn't see Saturday's show.

It wasn't a good dance from Aston. They said from the start, if Mollie's dance did not have a hiccup, it would have been scored higher.

I am ready to be slayed by Burke's argentine tango, and mildly by Gemma's Viennese Waltz because that's a really good song to do it to as well.

Okay I think Mollie can do really great at a Paso provides that AJ doesnt do the usual “look at me” choreography

I am already peeing at the idea of Alexandra Burke doing an Argentine Tango. Potentially another absolute moment on the way.

Alex's AT was SO. BLOODY. GOOD. wub.gif

I also really enjoyed Joe's rumba (I think I'm actually in love with him tbh) and Davood's charleston was incredible.

Okay, despite it being a tribute, Ruth's dance was a MESS. That whole first couple measures when she was supposed to be in sync with her partner... she was at least a half a beat late the entire time.

Davood was INCREDIBLE, a pretty much flawless Charleston. I think he pipped Alexandra JUST for me, but both were amazing. I kinda wanted Davood to edge it to top the leaderboard without a tie, but to equal Alexandra shows just how far he's come, definitely the most improved. You can tell how much he enjoys it and really gives it his all no matter what he's given. (and he's daddy af)

I was kinda disappointed in Debbie, all lifts and a bit slow in the actual moves, but it was understandable as she said she'd pulled a muscle in her back so I guess the lifts were less taxing than her having to move around loads. But still, her disappointing dances are above most of the others' solid ones. Gemma is disappointing me too atm, she seems to have done a Mollie laugh.gif A few weeks ago she was improving really rapidly but she's flopped a bit 3 times in a row now and sees to have plateaud. She has finalist potential imo but is frustratingly not hitting it recently. Ruth of course was terrible bless her, it's really her time to go.

Jonnie and Ruth had to dance off. The judges saved Jonnie. Ruth was eliminated.

I think how I'd rank this week:

10 | 1. Alexandra & Gorka
9 | 2. Davood & Nadiya
9 | 3. Joe & Katya (it was really clean!)
8 | 4. Debbie & Giovanni
7 | 5. Gemma & Aljaz
7 | 6. Mollie & AJ
6 | 7. Jonnie & Oti
6 | 8. Susan & Kevin
5 | 9. Ruth & Anton

An inspiration Jonny has been in this series. Well done to him. He should be proud of how he has done.
