There's no topic for this and I have no idea why.

I am catching up on season 2 which is ending in a few days. Its seriously incredible. Season 1 was amazing but this year the show has really stepped into another f***ing realm. I can see it becoming one of my favourites ever if Harmon keeps this quality up.

I'm actually finding S2 less good. I like the broader scope and a few episodes have been amazing (the most recent one about The Purge was excellent), but nothing has come close to Lawnmower Dog for me.

Having seen season 2 and rewatched season 1 over the past couple of days, I must say the Poopy Butthole episode is my favourite ever. That last phrase. "I'm sorry you didn't have bad memories of me". Amazing. And the credits! I saw someone mention the opening credits and I rewatched. Needless to say I squeaked. The Unity episode is probably Top 3 as well. The Community faux-shade <3

Just finished Season 1 and I can now consider Rick And Morty one of my favourite modern cartoons.

Favourite Characters: Rick and Morty.
Favourite Episodes (Top 5 from Season 1, might do a Top 10 after finishing Season 2):
  1. Rixty Minutes
  2. Something Ricked This Way Comes
  3. Lawnmower Dogs
  4. Close Encounters Of The Rick Kind
  5. Meeseeks and Destroy [LOOK AT ME! I'M MR. MEESEEKS!]

I started watching this in January and I absolutely love it but I'm still shocked by it's near universal love. It does feel like something a lot of people would hate.

The only disappointing episode they've made so far is Interdimensional Cable 2: Tempting Fate. The TV shows weren't as good as in the original episode, which was one of the finest they've made. The Pilot wasn't that strong either though really.

Unbelievable hype for season 3 though.

I liked both Interdimensional Cable episodes, though agreed that the first one was better. Hopefully they continue the tradition and have one for season 3.

The first episode of season 3 is live streaming on a loop on the Adult Swim website. It's a very solid episode. So happy that it's finally back. cheer.gif

What did you all think of "Rickmancing The Stone" and "Pickle Rick"?
I enjoyed both of these episodes.

This new season has been somewhat disappointing compared to the previous 2 if I;m honest. It kinda lost its magic

Really loving this series so far, Rick becoming a pickle was amusing.

Pickle Rick episode was brilliant, really crazy, really gory, and so much deeper than face value

It feels like they've been very consciously working to make every episode work on multiple levels this season. Both have been fantastic for me, maybe not as overtly HILARIOUS as season 1, but then I didn't find season 2 as funny overall either. Lots more pathos and depth which works fine for me.
