Guests: Ed Sheeran (Saturday), James Arthur (Sunday)


All acts will face each other for the first time, so two songs each as they're performing both nights and someone will go both nights.

Such a wanky theme. Will they be singing one song each on Saturday and Sunday, with one act going home each night?

Interesting that Ed is performing on the Saturday, I guess they're hoping for higher viewers with the Britney-style build-up:

According to Wikipedia the second theme is (get me to the final)

If someone goes both night I’m assuming it’s one performance per night then with lowest going each right ?

But if there is a prize fight still does that mean all 6 perform Saturday 1 wins 1 eliminates so only 4 perform Sunday ?

They'll probably just do the vote to save again and if the same act won Sunday they'd just say the "winner" that night was is whoever was 2nd? I don't see the point of a prize fight now tbh, it's the bloody final next week they'll get enough of a prize then laugh.gif I'm sure Dermot said both are performing both nights anyway.

I dont think that would be fair to get a pass to the final and skip essentially one "week" (night) of competition for it, I know that whoever won would be unlikely to be eliminated but they should still have to fight for it.

Omg all long I thought it was RULE Britannia but it's COOL Britannia which symbolises late 90s British icons in music.... I hate themes that force dated songs on the artists, ofc like George Michael there are great songs from the 90s but ffs.

I predict Lloyd and Matt are most likely to leave this weekend.

That leaves a double elimination next Saturday, which leaves 2 acts to go head to head on Sunday.

My predicts will be for next Saturday Kevin and sadly Cutkelvins to leave, which leaves Grace and Rak-su to battle it out on Sunday, unless we get a shock elimination tonight

Can only see it being Cutkelvins & Matt going this weekend in either order, as the only remaining contestants left who have yet to top a week. If either can pull it out the bag though you never know...

01. Cutkelvins - Nothing Like You

Last weeks song was better, but this ok in a "strong album track" sort of way. But they did feel like a group this week!
