I agree that it sounds quite basic compared to her usual standards but I'll try and reserve complete judgement until hearing it in full.

She posted some teasers on TikTok a couple of days ago and, then, deleted them. However, looks like she's officially teasing it because the latest TikTok snippet was shared on Instagram as well.

Oh yeah I saw the thing about the deleted teasers on Reddit the other day. Kinda surprised she's going for an English song as she's doing fine with her Spanish language stuff but if it gets her some extra exposure then why not x (I do get the bad feeling I'm not going to like this anywhere near as much as her previous stuff even without listening to the snippet but reserving judgement as well x)

Can’t wait for this. Love the sound of it, and she can do no wrong for me so far.
Glad she’s not waiting too long to release new material, Motomami has been on constant repeat since its release and I’m even more obsessed after finally seeing her at her O2 date. Such a star

yes only the chorus is English, the rest is Spanish
not what I was expecting, the chorus is very pop but the rest is more Spanish-influenced especially the bridge which is very flamenco

BuzzJack has a long tradition of putting any pop music that has vaguely alternative leanings / is critically acclaimed in this forum.
Rina Sawayama's threads were all in here until pretty recently too. I do think we should probably move ROSALÍA over to pop as well. x (anyway, that is quite relieving to hear that this apparently isn't fully just an English pop sellout song x) |

I think Rosalía is as Pop as it can be, if any it is Urban more than Indie.
