I don’t think Tessa has been that under the radar; she got 2 pins throughout the comp. I just think personality wise she is a bit quieter.

I’m still basically anyone but Tim to win... but I’m sure he will

I was also pleased that Tim went out 4th. It's obviously not his fault that they basically shoved him down our throats for the first 3 weeks and made him completely unwatchable.. but I think he came back humbled. He looks very weird with all that weight loss tho.

I'm too lazy to go back in this thread and find the Finale last year and said they'd drop the 2-Person Predictable Finale and here we are. It looks very interesting. I think it plays to Simon's strengths too. Larissa is a great cook, but, I don't particularly think her style is catered towards restaurant service.

This Finale came out of nowhere, I thought they'd string this along for another 2-3 episodes and have the finale on Sunday.. but Australian Survivor starts on Wednesday so I'll give them a pass.

Ugh. So upsetting. They really should have just made this the last season, or have them come back for a short All-Stars/Send Off... This all at once is a little much. End of an era. Even if they do bring it back... it will never be the same. Ugh.

I kind of thought that maybe George would bow out.. with the Press Club drama I think it was probably best for him to step aside. I never thought that Gary/Matt would leave however.

RIP Masterchef Australia.

Great final however.. VERY. DESERVING. WINNER.
This entire Top 10 sans Ben and Anoushka were amazing.

They adjusted the Final perfectly as well. Apart from knowing Simon wasn't going to win it was a very interesting watch. Great winner.

Ending Masterchef Australia 2019: I'm still pretty choked about George/Matt/Gary leaving. 11 Seasons, 747 Episodes. What they did was incredible. Sure, I hated each of them (especially Matt) at one point or another but they made this show what it was. They really found a way of getting respect from every contestant. I think we will get one more season with new judges and that will be it, unless it's becomes a massive success again. I do feel bad for Larissa - her win was amazing, but completely overshadowed by the judges leaving. They should have waited until the next day to announce they were all leaving.

The Block Australia 2019: Well this only just started so I don't have much to say. This project looks like too much, especially in the housing market that Australia is in right now I'm not sure why they felt it appropriate to do the biggest block yet. It's just going to end up like a few seasons back where only one team made a profit and the other teams were left broke. I don't have too many opinions by Mark and Mitch are just about the cutest old gay couple ever. I loved their Guest Bedroom too. Wow, they really know what they're doing. I hope they keep Apartment 1 or swap for Apartment 5. They'd be stupid to take one of the middle apartments if that option was available. Jesse seems a little sneaky. I wonder what mischief he will create this season.

Australian Survivor 2019: So we are 8 Episodes in (I'm only on Episode 7) but this season is shaping up to be amazing. I wasn't sold on the Contenders vs Champions theme again, but to me they are all Contenders because I only knew a handful of Celebrities/Athletes. Although I'm sure the general Australian Public will tune in because they have some really great Champions.
Janine Allis obviously stands out - her net worth is $66 Million Dollars. She didn't need to do this, but her reasoning was so authentic. I loved that she hired a PT before going on and she seems to be doing an amazing job so far.
Harry creating an imaginary child is such a Matt (BBUS) move. Although it seems to be working for him in his mind.
Luke returning as a Champion was a little meh. He didn't win and his gameplay the first time around was questionable, but he's shown why he deserves to be on this season as a Champion - instantly first tribal council found himself on the wrong side of the vote and flipped it? Great. Tribe swap where you are 7-2 in the minority and flipped it? Amazing. The only thing is I think that David may be outplaying him a tad! God. He is such a dreamboat. Sexy, Confident and knows how to play the game *swoon*
Andy just comes across as a used car salesman, like, how are the others not seeing this?! John I would bang so hard, even with that mullet. Abbey is going to be a QUEEN I can tell already.
This season has amazing potential. I can't wait to see where it goes.

Australian Survivor finishes tomorrow night and I’ve been gripped to be honest, even though I only picked it up about halfway through. There’s been quite an outrage over Luke being voted out 4th understandably and, whilst I would’ve loved for him to win, it does open up the final a little bit more in terms of who the real champion could be. My moneys on Pia but I’d equally be okay with Harry winning which would be a nice sort of redemption win for a contender after almost being voted out time and time again. Say what you want about her I think she made the right decision tonight by voting for Luke over Baden - Luke is guaranteed to get heaps in donations anyway (a go fund me page was opened literally minutes after the vote and had over 50k within 2 hours) and like I said it makes the finale way less predictable. Assuming Baden doesn’t make the Top 2 anyway, as I think Harry and Pia both have a fairly equal shot at #1 whereas nowhere near enough attention has been given to Baden basically ever. He’s a great player to have gotten this far but a part of that I feel, at least lately, has literally just been because everyone’s been focused on big players.

Ideally for me is Pia winning with Harry rounding out the Top 2

This whole season has been spectacular. Post-Jury has gone by so quickly... it's unbelievable. I don't want this season to end!
That last episode (I HAVEN'T SEEN THE FINAL YET) was just beautifully done, but... it HAD to be Luke if he didn't win immunity. He would kill it at the end.

I'm rooting for a Harry win at this point. He played really well.

End of Australian Survivor 2019: First off - let's start by saying this season was SENSATIONAL. Probably within my top 15 Survivor Seasons ever.
I may go back and watch Post-Merge again just because it went by so quickly and was such a blur. However, everything Post-Initial Tribe Swap has been sensational. Every Strategic and Strategic Threat was at 11/10 at all times.

However, that finale was disappointing. No live final? No reunion? What the HELL?!?!? It completely undermines all the hard work they did this entire season.
Secondly, both Baden and Pia played very similar games from what they were trying to articulate... so that final tribal council was so boring.
Pia is a fantastic winner, but her win would have been more impactful against Harry or Luke. We needed one of those two at the end to make the final interesting.. maybe that's why we didn't get a Live Final/Reunion =X

Seriously tho..... I can't believe they just revealed Pia as the winner, showed the votes and *POOF* that's all folks. If this does come back again, they need to fix that.

Pia deserved to win after her game but I agree it could’ve been more impactful. Baden was just cruising through the game and him stumbling his questions basically proved that he was trying to convince people he had a good game whereas Pia was just proving hers. I would’ve liked a more theatrical finale but it was too obvious that he wouldn’t win against either Pia or Harry. I guess a similar point could be made if Luke made the Top 2/3 though as no one could beat him. All fantastic players in the jury this year which goes to show how tough the last couple of weeks were.

All stars is rumoured to have Abbey, Harry, and David from this season

I think it was either Luke or Harry that said both Baden and Pia were Passenger Drivers.. but there's a difference between being a Passenger and just going for the ride. It was pretty obvious that Pia worked a lot harder than Baden. I wonder how the votes would have turned out if it was Baden/Harry?

I somehow managed to find a 50 Page Spoiler Thread for this season. Really up until a month ago nobody was really sure who won.. there was a lot of speculation that it was Pia.. but many felt it was too obvious. I stopped reading because about a month ago was when they started filming for All-Stars. I did however spoil the first two boots and if that has anything to go off of, this will be a must watch season. The host also confirmed we are getting another full season next year as well.

ETA: a Go Fund Me was created after Luke was voted out at F4. Already shut down. He made $550,000. Donating $50k to the community. Wow. That was fast.

From what I could see from the last seasons spoiler thread, about a month ago 20/24 of the contestants were confirmed and about to fly out. At this point they created a new topic for the All-Stars series.
I'll send you the link to the subforum, there are two topics. One with the cast and another with spoilers for the season. Be warned, the topic has the boot spoilers right in the first post. There were about 5 or 6 boots when I look at the thread.. I only spoiled the first two boots for myself.

Omg it's the US format!! I think that's wise tbh, it has been a few years but the old format already died twice, it's nice to try something different.
