I dunno if this matters anymore but the only way to get the Tool record on CD is via a deluxe edition that costs £80 on amazon.

I've found it for £65, but yeah I think that could make a big difference - though I imagine their vinyl sales will be very strong.

On Apple Music, Lana is 3 and Tool are 8 - so she does have a slight streaming advantage, but Tool are still doing very well there.

Nope I guessed that and was wrong I guess Tool or their record company think a later vinyl release, possibly with a rejig of the 3 superfluous tracks, will sell more than releasing it at the same time as streaming. I wonder if this was a joke- for years they've doubtless had complaints their back catalogue wasn't on streaming... and now their new record is (more or less) only on streaming |
