Easy for me - Rhythm of Love is one of her best and Let's Get To It is a bit of a mess.

'Rhythm of Love' again for me, its easily her best PWL album by miles. Out of the 4 she released during this era I'd rank them - 'Rhythm of Love' - 'Enjoy Yourself', 'Kylie' 'Let's Get To It'.
Like the other rounds so far I'm gonna talk about each of Kylie's studio albums, as I've already talked about 'ROL' in the last round, now its time to talk about 'LGTI'. As you've already guessed that this is one of my least fave Kylie albums, its one that took me a long time to fully embrace. I do appreciate Kylie evolving with the times, but this project was clearly rushed in order for Kylie to fulfill her contract, which was coming to an end by this point & this proved that it was time for Kylie to move on, she feels very restricted by the limitations of PWL. The sounds here are very trend chasing & haven't held up all that well. Not saying that this is bad or anything, there are a few good moments such as 'Finer Feelings', 'Too Much of a Good Thing' & 'Right Here Right Now', but others either feel out of place (Give Me Just Little More Time) or let down by the production. I do think if the 3 b-sides were added to this album, then this would have been a stronger body of work. |

I think where lets get to it falls down is its a mixed bag of sounds and as we saw with the singles they didnt seem fully sure what style they were going for, there was probably some slight panic when word is out missed the Top 10 as that was a fairly big shock at the time. It does have some good songs, i do really like word is out and if you were with me now, they would be my fave singles from the album, i do like give me just a little more time but i forget about it, finer feelings wouldnt be a go to single for me at all, i guess i like it is my fave from the album but it does stand out like a soar thumb as its completely different to everything else on the album.
