3rd: "Don't Stop the Music" [9 votes]

And so we come to the final round...

"Don't Stop the Music" just fails to make it, finishing 3rd to another two huge hits from Rih. Released as the album's fourth single and the last from the regular edition, she followed her own lead from "SOS" of sampling a classic 80s song for the song's main hook. It further cemented Rihanna's status at the biggest hitmaker of the time, becoming another huge hit for her on both sides of the Atlantic - spending over two months in the top 10 in both UK and US charts.

One of my personal favourite tracks from the album, it's easy to see how this became such a huge hit for her and inspired her to experiment more with her dance-pop sound going in to record "Disturbia". Unfortunately, it couldn't quite overthrow that song here so has to settle for third place.

Vote now for your least favourite of our final two songs - "Umbrella" and "Disturbia" - to decide the winner! cheer.gif

Results:
3rd: "Don't Stop the Music"
4th: "Take a Bow"
5th: "Shut Up and Drive"
6th: "Hate That I Love You"
7th: "Rehab"
8th: "Breakin' Dishes"
9th: "Good Girl Gone Bad"
10th: "Cry"
11th: "Push Up on Me"
12th: "If I Never See Your Face Again"
13th: "Sell Me Candy"
=14th: "Lemme Get That"
=14th: "Question Existing"
16th: "Say It"

They're both in my top 3 RiRi songs, but 'Disturbia' over time has emerged as my number one favourite. wub.gif

'Umbrella' to WIN, 'Disturbia' is awesome as well, but find the former has aged better and was a major turning point in her career, by becoming an ICON.
