In a similar nature to other song contests across the site, this will be voted in the same way of the real life Eurovision Song Contest. The names of the posters who sent the songs have been kept anonymous. You may therefore give your favourite song 12 points and rank the others with the following system below. Also, you cannot vote for yourself, sorry. Anyone can vote, even those who never entered +12 Points (your favourite) +10 +08 +07 +06 +05 +04 +03 +02 +01 D I S C I P L I N E S -33%_NON-VOTING -15%_LATE VOTING -08%_INCORRECT VOTING THE CONTENDERS 01 |♫ | OneRepublic - Secrets 02 |♫ | Ikimono-gakari - Shakura 03 |♫ | Florence + The Machine - Over The Love 04 |♫ | Carrie Underwood - Just A Dream 05 |♫ | Tone Damli - Winner Of A Losing Game 06 |♫ | Lara Fabian - Adagio 07 |♫ | Sanna Nielsen - Rainbow 08 |♫ | Simone - Heart Shaped Hole 09 |♫ | Meghan Trainor - Kindly Calm Me Down 10 |♫ | Carolina Liar - Show Me What I'm Looking For 11 |♫ | Marc Terenzi - Love To Be Loved 12 |♫ | Samantha Jade - Soldier 13 |♫ | Aneta Langerova - Voda Ziva 14 |♫ | LIGHTS - Meteorites 15 |♫ | Jessica Mauboy - Never Be The Same 16 |♫ | Brequette - Más 17 |♫ | Pixie Lott - Ain't Got You 18 |♫ | Ivy Levan - Who Can You Trust? 19 |♫ | Ruelle - War Of Hearts 20 |♫ | Kari Kimmel - Dreamer 21 |♫ | Diana Vickers - Notice 22 |♫ | Linda Pritchard - Alive 23 |♫ | Molly Sandén- Phoenix 24 |♫ | Ke$ha - Love Into The Light 25 |♫ | Martina McBride - Concrete Angel 26 |♫ | Avril Lavigne - Keep Holding On 27 |♫ | Karise Eden - Threads Of Silence Voting closes Monday 20th June 2016, please PM all voted to me. Rainbow is like, the worst Sanna song ever, shame on whoever sent it.
Yass to whoever sent Kari though <3 This post has been edited by Regina: Jun 11 2016, 07:22 PM |

Rubbish! Rainbow is lovely. It's far from her best but it's certainly not Sanna's worst effort.

It looks like a pretty good line up of tracks, although there seems to be a few 'power' mid-tempos. Going to be tricky balancing voting for some of my favourite artists/songs with voting for songs that actually fit the theme.
The person that sent Molly Sanden isn't just barking up the wrong tree, they're in the wrong forrest. Come on, Why Am I Crying or Spread A Little Light are right there! (and are better both being absolute MOMENTS) |

Voted! Incredibly early but what better way to spend a Saturday night than with power ballads and the screams of despair from next door's England Euro party.

Well, it's going to be tough to pin which song came from which poster here I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb here, not sure if that'll be a good thing or not.

Didn't have time to look for a song for this but there are some great songs here. Notice is like something from Corrs' Talk On Corners, such a great song <3
The Carolina Liar song is a forgotten/underrated gem too. Not sure how that wasn't a huge global hit. |

There's not a lot of POWER behind most of these. I wished I could have sent I Surrender by Celine, which is basically my ultimate power ballad, but that was too cheap even for me.

I Surrender out-powers every song ever and then some *.* Celine at her best.
A lot of these acts have much more suitable songs tbh, Ruelle for example. She doesn't have any power ballads but a few that can kinda pass for one, this song certainly doesn't. Molly has tons better songs too. Shame. Having drums does not a power ballad make. This post has been edited by Regina: Jun 11 2016, 11:04 PM |
