The song never actually reached #1 - having to settle for the number 2 spot thanks to Steps and Westlife. The track was a worldwide hit; reaching #1 in Australia and the top 10 across Europe. In the US it was less successful, limping to #40. It was one of those that everyone in my primary school seemed to know and find hilarious - similar to 'Witch Doctor'.
