Just thought I'd start a thread where we can discuss all the performances as opposed to hopping from one topic to another laugh.gif (Although you can still talk about the 'Secret Love Song' & 'Hair' performances in their relative threads due to them still being prominent talking points)

The only act to have over 100,000 views in less than 24 hours. Not only on every single one of their videos, but ALL of their videos! *.* (Ariana's have only just been uploaded though - bar 'Into You' which has 80k+) Phenomenal <3

Thanks for uploading the videos. I love how whenever they do an event like this they always seem to be the most talked about act afterwards. It was the same for Jingle Bell Ball last year

I agree with Jonjo, I hope they manage more than a 2 week break
soon. They're back on the road and work so incredibly hard.

They killed it! Obsessed! I love Jade during her Salute verse where she has a problem with her earpierce and she keeps making movements for the tech guys to turn it up. After that, look at Jesy climbing the stairs! SO FAST! Can't believe she was severely injured a few weeks ago. Also I love how hyped Perrie was shouting "ORIGINALS" before the last chorus. My babies

Am I the only one that think they actually take too many breaks? They just took 2 weeks off, they'll go on a 2 week tour then probably have more weeks off.. They should have performed Hair in a couple of shows. I know during the London tour it was necessary since they were doing 7 shows a week, but on these other legs it just seems excessive to me. They talk a lot about wanting 1D level of fame but you won't get there by taking breaks every 2 weeks of work.

I know this seems harsh, but you have to keep in mind the longevity of pop acts, especially girl groups. The public won't be there for them forever. They need to enjoy every chance they get now.

I see your point, but personally I disagree. They've worked so unbelievably hard this era, especially from Black Magic to Secret Love Song, the Christmas period in particular was manic, and I think right now they can't really work any harder. There wasn't really much point promoting Hair for me, that time would be better for them to recharge and come at it full force next era. Plus I also think it's worth bearing in mind the chances of them, or anyone getting to 1D levels of hype is insanely difficult, and sadly because of the way society, and the music industry is, the fact that they are a girl band hinders them in that regard. Not that they aren't talented enough or good enough, because by a million miles they are; but also I think it's worth saying that this era has laid the foundations for really big things next, so to me, it's best not to overwork them this one; I mean look at One Direction for example, they were worked literally none stop! It was Single and Album Promos, then Straight into a world wide tour which lasted half a year, during which they'd have to promote stuff, and be working on the next album, they literally got nothing off, and after 5 years as a Directioner you could see they were just exhausted and needed to go on a hiatus, or whatever the hell is happening. So for me anyway, I think they're doing things right laugh.gif

Regarding STB I think the SLS and Salute performances are my favs, soooo good wub.gif

Yeah they've not really stopped since Black Magic came out, apart from a short period at Christmas and a few weeks ago. So much work happens behind the scenes too, because they're rehearsing and recording (sounds like album 4 is well on the way!). They've also done their biggest ever tour, sometimes two shows a day and jesy even perfoming in a wheelchair.

Being a Saturdays fan for years really shows a good perspective of work ethic and good management.

I agree Hair didn't need much promo as much as a TV performance would have been nice for fans and a top 10 peak. It's been huge regardless.

Seeing the videos from STB makes me really want to go to Jingle Bell Ball in December. Anyone know roughly how much tickets usually cost?

Yeah I know they'll never achieve 1d status because they're girls etc, which is SO unfair and makes me angry. But yeah, I'm so so so proud of everything they achieved this era, can't wait to see where it will take them.

I actually think them taking breaks here and there makes them enjoy and appreciate their job more.

It also allows them to work on their performance skills because there's more time for rehearsals. If they had a schedule like 1D, I doubt they would have had any time to grow as performers and do new arrangements that they always give for the fans.
