Finally this hell-year will be over soon! I'm excited for 2021 even if it starts out shit. This year has been one of the worst of my life, yay, so closing the book on it is going to be such a relief.

Haven't posted a chart in ages, but figured I have time to drop one today & share a few of my latest tracks with y'all. It's been an interesting year musically, I've found myself reaching for a lot of throwbacks and different genres as my routine has changed dramatically with no longer commuting or being out and about as much, working out, or going clubbing. Fingers crossed I won't be saying that this time next year.

Since we last checked in Kylie Minogue has grabbed a #1, we've had a couple of foreign language #1s and top 5s, and a lot of tracks from site song contests have made an appearance including from Olya Polyakova, GRANT, Lydmor, Shygirl and Slayyyter. Current #1 is one I considered for the pop contest before sending another Pabllo track from earlier in the year. My last BJSC entry from Kali Uchis is also still in the top 5, and other entries I considered for the last BJSC come from Lee SuHyun, Felix Cartal and Annabel Englund, among others.

This week's chart has the residual effect of Kylie, Inna, and Megan Thee Stallion's latest album bombs. Taylor Swift will probably chart a number of tracks in coming weeks, at least the sublime 'willow'. Fingers crossed that Gwen Stefani gives us a whole new album in the New Year to follow up the super reintroduction that enters in the lower ranges this week.
