After the resounding success of Series 1 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK and the news that the show has been renewed for a second series, what would you like to see from another bunch of UK queens? What challenges, runways and lipsyncs would you LOVE? |

Get queens who can lipsync AND better lipsync songs!! The lipsyncs were mostly totally anticlimactic, because of either of those things.
Also more UK centric Snatch Game, I REALLY want some soap characters. |

The problem with the “better lip syncs” thing is that it’s not largely what the UK is known for. If you look at the top 3 queens, who were pretty clearly the best 3, none of them lip sync at their shows typically, they’re singers. So they’d need to find the balance - swapping your Gothy and Scaredy for known lip syncers.
Agreed about a Scottish queen, there’s a lot of talent there. CJ Banks, RuJazzle, Bruise etc. A soap challenge is a must but I’m glad they didn’t exhaust all the British stereotypes in one series so they’ve got plenty of fun to work with going forward. |

More Alan Carr! The perfect mixture of wittiness and campness for Drag Race — completely exceeded my expectations.
Do we think the shorter season with 10 queens kept the quality up in comparison to the US? |

I liked how short this season was but there's no way they are not casting at least 12 next time. Funny how a mere 2 additional queens make a huge difference.

Yeah that's very true, I honestly wouldn't mind (and this might be controversial) if they did something else at the bottom 2, but idk what they really could do that's still fair. I guess just casting some more known lipsyncers like Cheryl alongside the polished queens who mostly sing, then you'll have a good balance. |

Tbf as long as the good song choices and performance value is there then I don't mind about them being perfect lip syncers

Well....several things, for a start more queens, like 12-14, so we can have more episodes & given how successful the first season was, hopefully that will mean we get a bigger 2nd season. Give them proper actual prizes for winning challenges, instead of those stupid Ru-Peter badges, like they do the U.S. series (maybe that was down to the shows budget). Better lip-sync songs, (PLEASE can we finally have some Kylie Minogue songs). There were some decent tracks on this season such as "Spice Girls - Spice Up Your Life", "Bananarama - Venus", "Little Mix - Power" (personally would have preferred 'Black Magic' or 'Touch', & 'Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own". "Call My Name" would have made this list if it wasn't for that awful remix version, but Cheryl Hole's epic moves saved it somewhat (would have been a lot better if they just used the standard version. My fave Lip Sync of this season was Cheryl Hole Vs Baga Chipz on 'TDOTO', as it was just simply fantastic & Baga really gave the song some character & even had a similar look to the late Amy Winehouse herself. Having Wham's 'I'm Your Man' as the final lip-sync was odd & quite jarring, even though both Vivienne & Divina gave great performances, the song just didn't hit the mark. Imagine if they both did Kylie's "Better The Devil You Know", now that could have been awesome & far more fitting. Finally some tighter editing & not having the pointless untucked segment shoved in, it just makes the episode drag. A 45-50 minute episode will run much more smoothly. |

Seconding Scottish queens & more northern queens in general.
Similarly iconic guest judges - but not people who don't suit it e.g. just throwing on anyone at a certain level of fame like Anne-Marie or Rita Ora. Less favouritism thx. |
