More European embarrassment for Celtic after an abysmal 2-1 AET loss to Midtjylland. They will now play Jablonec in the Europa League qualifying.

That was honestly one of the worst games I’ve watched in a long time. Neither team had any quality.

In fairness Midtjyland are probably at the same level as Celtic currently so it’s not that embarrassing and the McGregor goal you’ll agree was qualify?!

It’s pretty tough in the league end of the qualifier draw compared to the champions end. The winner of that tie plays PSV for example!

It feels like Celtic get knocked out at this stage every year. It will probably happen again in July/August 2022.

That was a really poor Midtjylland side. Celtic should be able to beat them. AEK Athens, Cluj & Ferencvaros were all stronger opponents.

Their goal was a great strike but they offered nothing after they conceded. I don’t think they even had a shot in extra time.

Yeh there’s a lot of blame with the board now can see Rangers dominating for a few seasons now!

Think Cliftonville played them a few years back which says a lot I guess lol

With Messi joining PSG in addition to all the star players they already have if PSG don't win the Champions League this season they probably never will!

Shocking defending from Rangers mean they are also knocked out of the Champions League losing 4-2 to Malmö on aggregate.

They will now play Kairat or Alashkert in a play-off for the Europa League.

Sheriff are from Moldova I think; probably the smallest team left in the champions route and Farencvaros probably have a really great group over the past few years as they punched above their weight last year in the group stage, the basis of the solid Hungary team at the Euros!

Extra time in Shaktar v Monaco hasn't been great. With the away goals rule, we would have been spared this.

Oh. Shaktar have just scored laugh.gif
