This is so sad news, I've always loved Roxette. Tourism and Joyride were among the first albums I owned.

Tragic and sad news to hear, a wonderful talent and a huge loss to her family and friends.
So many fantastic songs she was involved in for so many years.

I love the story of how Roxette became worldwide famous, they had tried to get a record deal but all labels rejected them
then an American student that had been in an exchange in Sweden, brought a Roxette CD back with him and
passed it to his local radio station who started playing The Lookt and little by little the song become popular and more popular
and ended up reaching #1 in the US smile.gif <3

Back when single radio stations could make songs a hit. Nowadays they're all part of the same groups like IHeart, so its harder to break through the system.

I loved their 1999 album, what a comeback. Anyone is my favorite song by them. MTV hammered it at the time.

The first singer to pass away who was truly a part of my childhood. Their music will forever hold a special place in my heart wub.gif

Listened to them on the way home from work today in memory of Marie and I could still sing along to every word... Joyride and Fading Like a Flower wub.gif

Yeah, I enjoy their recent stuff as much as their classics from late 80s. Stars may be my favorite

I really hope they will release some material recorded for future planned releases, if it exists.

I would think they will and possibly add on a greatest hits cd. The greatest hits is a great album, packed with great songs.
