1. Move Your Body - Sia (Alan Walker remix)
2. Burnin' - Bob Sinclar and Daddy's Groove 3. Fabulous - Dirty Disco ft. Jeanie Tracy 4. Call On Me (Raffa Remix) - Starley 5. Charli XCX - After The Afterparty (Chocolate Puma remix) 6. Move Your Body - Sia (original) 7. Good Life - Oliver Heldens ft Ida Corr 8. Dearly Beloved- Kiesza 9. Counting On Me - Aeroplane and Purple Disco Machine ft Aloe Blaac 10. We Can Make It - Offer Nissim ft Dana International (Club Mix) 11. Paris - Chainsmokers ft Louane 12. Castle On The Hill - Ed Sheeran 13. Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello - Bad Things 14. So Good - Louisa Johnson 15. Marshmello - Alone 16. Shed A Light - David Guetta and Robin Schulz ft Cheat Codes 17. Testify - Hi Fi Sean ft Crystal Waters 18. Say To Me - WHTKD 19. Galantis - Love On Me 20. Rockabye - Clean Bandit, Anne Marie and Sean Paul (End Of the World remix) Chart Commentary (long this week because of the new chart): At number 1 this week we have the Eurodance influenced remix of Sia's Move Your Body done by Alan Walker. Burnin', a cover of part of the Communards' Don't Leave Me This Way, done in a funky house style, makes number 2, a former number 1 in the pre-chart days of late December. For the next one, the Buzzjack Mountainers have been looking at the Billboard Hot Club songs chart (aka a chart with lots of random new dance songs which sadly have no chance of becoming hits mostly) and has found a rather crazy retro sounding house tune, although the lyrics are a bit too cheesy (if they weren't it would have undoubtedly made Buzzjack Mountain's number 1), the production is brilliant and so makes their top 5. Starley's Call On Me has become a worldwide hit courtesy of a tropical house remix by Ryan Riback, but at Buzzjack Mountain it is a rather different remix by Raffa which becomes the hit. At number 5 we have Lotti favourite After The Afterparty, but again in in a more lively, loop form courtesy of legendary house producers Chocolate Puma (who for one this time trance collaboration in the 00s with Dannii Minogue were known as Riva). Still waiting for a Riva remix of After The Afterparty, a trance remix of this song would be interesting . The original Move Your Body (not the inferior single mix) is at number 6 and at number 7 is a song that has been a favourite of Buzzjack mountaineers for a few weeks, Good Life by Oliver Heldens and Ida Corr. Kiesza's funky comeback song Dearly Beloved is at number 8 and an excellent funky house track recommended to Buzzjack Mountainers by danG on its page thread is at number 9. At number 10 is another song found through the Billboard Hot Club songs chart, Offer Nissim and Dana International's trance and Middle eastern music hybrid We Can Make It. 11 is unique as it is not out yet but is wonderful sounding courtesy of what Buzzjack Mountainers can hear in the leaked Twitter live video, and is their favourite Chainsmokers song to date. Number 12 sees a return to an indie rock sound to the charts in Ed Sheeran's new track and 13 sees the return of a nostalgic early 2010s type urban ballad with a male rap vocal and a wonderful female singing chorus. Louisa Johnson's catchy retro pop sounding third single is at number 14 and at 15, US producer Marshmello has managed to mix a Alice Deejay style trancepop buildup with a future bass/trap drop creating what danG would call future trance. Anyway it is here for the nostalgia factor of that buildup. Shed a Light's popularity has waned with Buzzjack Mountainers recently compared to late last year, but still manages to stay at number 16. At number 17, a new entry for the catchy house/folk mix of Testify, and Buzzjack Mountain's inhabitants think this superior to its vocalist Crystal Waters' biggest hit, Destination Calabria (with Alex Gaudino). There is room for a bit of new future house, despite the Buzzjack Mountainers' reservations about the genre, they seemed to like WHTKD's Say To Me enough to let it enter at number 18. Galantis' Love On Me is just about still in the top 20 at number 19 and the top 20 is ended with an interesting piano based remix of Rockabye. Hi Snakey! Nice choice of #1 Nice to see Castle on the Hill enter as well! Great chart Thanks...I really like Castle on The Hill, even though I am not a big Ed Sheeran fan. I wish the official version of Move Your Body was the Alan Walker remix rather than the single mix, but it is a good song from Sia anyway. |

Hi Buzzjack Mountain
Double Sia here! I prefer the AW remix myself too. The Keisza track was a huge disappointment for me, I miss her Giant In My Heart sound already. Good to see Alone, Shed A Light & Love On Me here some big dance highlights those! |

Hi The Snake, 4. Call On Me (Raffa Remix) - Starley Only heard the Ryan Riback version 5. Charli XCX - After The Afterparty (Chocolate Puma remix) Not heard this but love the original 20. Rockabye - Clean Bandit, Anne Marie and Sean Paul (End Of the World remix) The original is such a banger I cannot get enough of it Great Chart Thanks. The Raffa remix of Starley's track I much prefer to the original, the Chocolate Puma remix of AAAP is mostly instrumental actually, and I feel the End Of The World remix of Rockabye has less generic production than the original (I really like the vocals in the original). QUOTE 12. Castle On The Hill - Ed Sheeran Loving this more than Shape Of You tbh I agree, Shape Of You sounds too generic with its tropical production I think. |

Hi Buzzjack Mountain Double Sia here! I prefer the AW remix myself too. The Keisza track was a huge disappointment for me, I miss her Giant In My Heart sound already. Good to see Alone, Shed A Light & Love On Me here some big dance highlights those! The citizens of Buzzjack Mountain greet you too. Giant In My Heart was excellent I agree, I don't know why she went with such a dated cheesy pop vocal but the production is funky enough to let it do reasonably well in my chart. The Alan Walker remix of Move Your Body and Love On Me both have an uplifting nostalgic Eurodance sound to them which I like and Shed A Light is a great progressive house tune. |

Hi
Castle On The Hill entering and not Shape Of You is a good thing I need to listen to the N.1 more times, I always don't like Sia songs at first |

hi!
the Alan Walker remix of MYB is brilliant, I was hoping it'd get a push but it seems not the Call On Me remix you like, just listening to it now and it's sounding quite good, reminds me of Lucas & Steve. Though I do prefer the single mix by Ryan Riback. also loving Say To Me at the moment, I'd like that to be a future hit. cool chart~ |
