If released Adele, if not Sam Smith.

I can't see Ellie taking it.

Why is Adele 'if released'? She's confirmed a release date hasn't she?
Posted by: burbe Oct 9 2015, 09:57 AM
I think Adele will despite only a few weeks. She'll sell bucketloads over Christmas.

If she has, it must've been in the last 24 hours

No, it was announced a couple of weeks ago - 20th Nov

Great. She'll probably beat NOW 92 to the top of the combined album chart. I'd rather she released a week early to interfere with 1D and JB

Announced by who though? Isn't it just speculative?

She'd probably sell twice as much as OD&JB combined!

Amazon lists it as 20th Nov. I dunno, maybe it's not 100% but that seems to be the release date that's being banded around.

Yep, definitely. I can see both making 1m too and I wouldn't be surprised to see Ed Sheeran keep One Direction out the Top 3.

I hope not. I'm glad 1D stopped Emeli Sandé from making it two consecutive years in 2013

Let's say Sam Smith.

Adele (it seems to be a cert that '25' will be released next month). Possibly with sales of over 1.5m - my initial thought was 2.1m but that's probably way too high...

Adele in my belief will sell brilliantly but under-perform massively based on expectations.
