Really thought they'd have insta-added P!nk, but at least she's tune of the weekend so hopefully she'll be added next week.

7 Rings seems to be flying solo again, as they've removed Break Up With Your Girlfriend from the listing on the website, which is odd, especially considering there's still a chance the latter might be #1 today (unless they know something we don't?)

Posted by: Bjork 22nd February 2019, 10:01 AM

this kinda suggest 7 rings might go back to #1 today and they know it biggrin.gif

really thought Pink was gonna be added today :/ disappointing...

also thought Juice was gonna move to the A list

but nice they added Katy/Zedd and Mumfords

Easy solution: add P!nk and remove Meek Mill

Why you didn't get a seat on the playlist committee I'll never know!

He really SHOULD have done.

Rudimental removed after just 3 weeks C List ohmy.gif

Good to see Axwell moved up to B and Tom Walker up to A. Other than that not much of interest for me this week.

That would be a good idea biggrin.gif I’d remove a lot of mumble rap for a start if it’s not doing too well

I'd rather listen to that Meek Mill song a million times than that Pink song once again.

Where is Kehlani fats

Thank God they didn't add that painfully generic P!nk song. She's been releasing the same songs for over a decade now and she only releases mundane radio fodder.

Yes, shame on her for releasing songs that are radio friendly like nobody else does blink.gif

This is actually fair. I like Pink and some of her songs, and I think she's a tremendous live performer, but I made this comment when I was watching her BRITs performance, all her songs this side of 2010 sound the same. nocheer.gif

Don't agree with that
don't think the new single sounds anything like What About Us, the new one sounds more like Mumford & Sons if something

My first thought was more P!nk doing a Train song.

The melody of the chorus actually really reminds me of another song but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's a Mumford one but I can't think which one.

isn't the new Mumfords single - Beloved???

Posted by: Dan17F1 22nd February 2019, 03:31 PM

Radio 1 have played both 7 Rings and Break Up With Your Girlfriend today, so I think since the website has updated itself, they may have just forgotten to list both songs together!

Posted by: gavindeejay 22nd February 2019, 05:55 PM

Heard P!nk on the afternoon show today so I should imagine it will get added soon.

No it’s ‘October Skies’ which is why Radio 1 have playlisted ‘Beloved’

This has been racking my brains too!!

Great to see Foals and Billie added to the A list and surprised but delighted Dave is big enough for an instant B list add now, great track.

Not overly surprised about Pink though - they will playlist her but because of how long she's been around they will wait until week 2 to C List her and Radio 2 unsurprisingly instant added her.

Love the new adds for Mumfords, Grace Carter and the Amazons. Has that 1975 track not been released and playlisted already??

Posted by: Whoody4Paramore 22nd February 2019, 09:19 PM

Love It If We Made It wasn't a single when it came out and it wasn't playlisted.

Posted by: Steve201 22nd February 2019, 09:25 PM

I think it must have been just in my playlists when it came out. So they just went from Give Yourself a Try to Too Time and then It's Not Living!?

Yeah, those were the singles!

I imagine this will be the last one before the lead from the next album (May 31st).

Yeh, I might add Sincerity to my playlist this time then as I've had the other one on before!

The funny irony of Love It If We Made It is that they have to censor something that the President of the United States said. laugh.gif
