Miley’s first full length studio album since 2017 is almost around the corner.

Released just in just under two weeks time how do we think this will do in week one (and beyond)

The tracklisting and artwork has now been confirmed.

Midnight Sky has been huge for her and I think the Dua collab will do the same.

I have a feeling this will be a big seller for her. I think she might debut at around #7 but with potential to climb in the new year and have a strong chart run for her.

My poll is more aimed at its UK chart performance but any US predictions can also be posted here too.

Top 5 album with 20k sold I’m thinking.

I think she probably will peak week one followed by a potential drop and then a reboot after Christmas. I hope she gets a US #1 but at the moment she seems bigger in the UK.

I voted 2-5 in terms of position and 25-29k with it repeaking after Xmas on the back of the Dua Lipa feature being a huge Xmas and post Xmas hit.

She looks very Dolly Parton-esque in that alternative album cover art, doesn't she?

Predict a top 3 debut with about 25k maybe. This could easily have some staying power especially if we get more successful singles (Prisoner with Dua Lipa could give her first chart topper in several years), plus 'Midnight Sky' which not only was a smash hit, but the best song of her career.

It was a smart move starting from scratch & therefore scrapping that 'She Is Coming' trilogy, considering the less than stellar reception to the 1st EP & none of the singles released during that time really took off. She needed to come back stronger than this after her last album didn't do very well & if 'SIC' did get released, it would have probably fared even worse. However 'MS' really turned things around for her (THANK GOD) & became the comeback we've all been waiting for.

I just don't know what to make of Miley's popularity anymore. "Midnight sky" has been a turkey in the USA singles chart. In the UK, it's always been hit or miss. The song has received great airplay, but is she the seller she was during the Wrecking Ball days? Time will tell.

I’m thinking top 5.... possibly at #3 behind Gary Barlow and Steps

#2-5
20k (I'd say 23k)
Yes - it will have some longevity not massive streaming due to only one older hit single (MS) being on it.

Have no idea how this will do in week 1 as she has a really sporadic UK album chart history (29, 10, 17, 8, 38, 1, 8, 18). However I think this album will stick around for a while and get some decent sales, it’s one of the first Miley albums that I genuinely can’t wait to hear for years after the amazing lead single.

I'm going with a #1 debut with 30k+ sales - particularly if the Dua collab is massive. "Midnight Sky" has done extremely well and has set the album up well - especially with it getting such great airplay. I think she's going to surprise.

I believe she doesn't have much compeititon being released the week she's releasing and instead she'll be competing against 2nd/3rd weeks of the likes of AC/DC/Neil Diamond/Michaell Ball & Alfie Boe? I know Dua has her re-release, but I'm not sure it'll do enough to challenge for #1.

#6-10, perhaps towards the lower end
#15-19k
Yes

I can see the album sticking around for a while, but I can’t see it repeaking.

Miley’s UK competition is Gary Barlow and Steps. Two usually big sellers in week one.

Gary especially will probably sell a lot because he has the mums fanbase and I know he’ll have a lot of promo.

I can’t see Miley beating either of those in week one here bu she may well have the longest chart run overall as when the new year comes I think those two will both drop off a lot but Miley will stay consistent.

I can see it having long top 20 longevity but not repeaking in the top 5

I think it'll achieve a #3 debut behind Bar Low and Steps, but probably outsell them both in the longrun!

Hard to predict she only released 1 single so far which has been hugely bigger than Malibu but not sure if it will translate to albums I voted 2-5 with 10k sales but really dont know

Top 3, 24k, strong sales over Christmas. She's never been in a better position here to sell albums.

I think it will depend a bit on how the Dua duet does. Midnight Sky was deservedly huge here, but I don’t think that one hit song will keep the album afloat.
