We've handpicked four of the biggest names in music, hailing from Canada like Shawn, to feature in a number of battle rounds to determine who the best of the lot is! Similar to Battle of the Boybands in the One Direction forum, there will be a series of polls where Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Avril Lavigne and Drake will battle for your affections. Only one artist can win each round, and an overall winner will be crowned at the end of the event based on how many polls they've won! So, without further ado, let's kick things off: For Round One, we'll kick things off by rewinding back to the very beginning of each artist's career in music by deciding who had the best debut single! I must say that when we started planning this, I wasn't familiar in the slightest with Carly OR Drake's debut singles, so if any of you are like me this will be as much about discovering new music as anything else too! In fourth place is Drake with Replacement Girl. Poor Carly didn't manage to wow anybody with her debut single Sunshine on My Shoulders though - although can't say that's come as a surprise at all! Round Two coming v soon .
