So on Sunday.

Sees the 99th running of the Indianapolis 500 with all the talk being about these four airborne crashes in qualifying:

Ed Carpenter:

Josef Newgarden:

Helio Castroneves:

James Hinchcliffe:

Let's hope the race is remembered for the right reasons and not marred by a horrific crash.

Will you be watching on Sunday?

I heard about these crashes but I've only watched them now. Itnerstingly all of the crashes are of the same sort. These oval racetracks are quite dangerous imo although it would be fun to watch once Formula 1 also have one race on an oval track.

Juan Pablo Montoya wins the Indy 500 15 years after his first.

Did anyone watch the race at all?

No, I couldn't watch it, but I always liked to watch Montoya racing at the Indy Car.

Montoya was my favourite F1 driver at the time, was gutted when he quit sad.gif but it's good to hear he's still achieving success!

Montoya definitely one of the best F1 drivers of the 21st Century to not win a world title. The battles he had with Michael Schumacher great to watch.

Agreed biggrin.gif that move at Interlagos 2001 was unbelievable in only his third race! A very gifted driver, had a bit of bad luck otherwise would have definitely won a title if not titles.
