I heard my former chart-topper Freak Like Me in a club saturday night, I literally hadnt heard it in a decade and had forgotten the words and had to mumble along to it, how embarrassing! The early noughties retro-comeback is starting up and shifting into gear over the next few years. It's still a great record.

A little something to help you remember those words wink.gif

6 years on from that night, 17 years on from its release and it's still a bonafide BANGER.

This seems pretty rare, but Siobhan does a verse in Push The Button:

Damn! I'm desperate to know if it's an MKS project (most likely) or by some miracle, SUGABABES at last. cry.gif

In other news, queen Buena was interviewed in Amsterdam last week:

Looks fanmade but September 5th would be accurate enough ahead of the compilation

That picture is very old, and the logo is from the Taller In More Ways era, so yeah.

I suppose it's possible that it'll be sent out as a promotional track though but I don't trust that at all.

Definitely fanmade. But it just looks so right seeing their faces next to Sugababes. wub.gif

Slow news day much? laugh.gif

Honestly, if anyone has the capability to just contact them, their management or potential label and just ask it's the journalists. But why ruin a good story with trying to find out facts? pirate.gif

Nicely spotted about the Spotify page though: https://open.spotify.com/artist/7rZNSLWMjTbwdLNskFbzFf

Has it always been like this?

‘Journalism’ for you... rolleyes.gif

The originals have always been in the Spotify header, but they’ve definitely updated the picture! The old image is the one still featured on Siobhan’s profile.

I got so excited when I seen the title of today's OCC article! wub.gif

DJ Spoony talks teaming up with Sugababes, Paloma Faith and Lily Allen on Garage Classical album and the garage revival:

QUOTE
As well as the show, Spoony is releasing the album Garage Classical on October 11. The record features – you’ve guessed it – classic garage songs with a live orchestral twist performed by big-name artists. Paloma Faith, Lily Allen, Gabrielle and the original Sugababes line-up all feature, with the latter covering Sweet Female Attitude’s Flowers. “I know [Sugababes’] Mutya [Buena] and Keisha [Buchanan] personally because they are huge garage fans,” Spoony explains of the unexpected collaboration. "They were always out in the garage clubs, but at the same time, they were huge pop stars and the biggest girl band in the country. They’ve done this project out of love. As soon as I asked them, they said they’d love to do it. They’ve done an incredible job with Flowers."

Wow this video just confirms why 1.0 is better:

As thankful as I am that Keisha never let Heidi noRange take the lead on this, it still doesn't sound right at all with Keisha on the lead. Mutya actually does it a little better imo.

Less said about Amelle and Heidi attempting to do the Keisha/Mutya section the better.

The Garage Classical album on iTunes and Amazon:
https://music.apple.com/gb/album/garage-classical/1465118576
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Garage-Classical-D...9439&sr=8-1

No tracks listed yet (not that I'm checking it daily or anything)...

Interestingly the digital pre-order has now been taken down - I hope / assume we'll get the real tracklisting. tongue.gif

All of their albums - besides One Touch, Overloaded and The Complete Bs - have been taken down from UK iTunes... how strange?!
