Gymnastics qualification has gotten underway - Simone Biles stumbled a few times yesterday so perhaps she is human after all? ohmy.gif

Hope Simone will be alright, such a shame for her sad.gif

Great Britain win bronze in the women's all around, they were seventh after the first bit of apparatus. First time since 1928.

Great to see Team GB get a bronze, even if we hardly got to see any of it! laugh.gif Congrats to Russia and hope Simone can recover for at least some of the remaining competitions.

I don't know anything about Gymnastics but looking at the history of it at the Olympics it's strange how a lot of the females who took part in previous Olympic games are now retired and you see that they're in their mid 20's. It's like they rarely get beyond the age of 24/25. In most other sports they'd have at least another 10 years left in the tank.

Simone Biles has now pulled out of the individual all-around final to focus on her mental health - really hope she is okay sad.gif

Daiki Hashimoto looked incredible in the men's all-around though, really glad he managed to get the gold!

With the medal flurry Bryony Page has been a bit overlooked but she did manage a bronze in the trampolining yesterday!

I've no idea who Heap is but given that I've been thinking that one of the gymnastics commentators sounds uncannily like Johnny Vegas all week I think I know who you mean!

Fab to see Whitlock retain his title, gold medals for Israel and Brazil as well bringing some more colour to the gymnastics field!
