Chart Commentary

A big thank you to all those 9 of you who commented on last week's personal chart, including HarryEzra, BridgeCow, Josh!, DalekTurret32, toffonews, danG, popchartfreak, Sven10 and M4NG0.

This week sees 6 new entries enter the Top 40 Countdown. The majority of them have been discovered courtesy of Thermo's Hot Hits by danG. After listening carefully to many of his favourite songs around at the moment, I've also acquired a love of many of these, and that is why there are song, both new and old, entering this week.

Starting off at the top and Avicii returns to #1 for a second week with the electronic beat Without You. Up to #3 this week is former BJSC winner In The Morning by Jaded. This weeks highest new entry at #4 is a belated one and it comes from Danny L Harle who previously featured in this chart with Carl Rae Jepsen in the past. Duke City fall to #5. The second highest new entry also is a late entry, Oliver Moldan feat. Jasmine Ash enter at #7 this week with High & Low, it is this weeks Track Of The Week. Immediately following that entry is another new one at #8 from BJSC 97 from South Danaelanda and it comes from DJ Licious.

The highest climber this week comes from Taylor Swift who is up 17 places to #12 with her comeback single Look What You Made Me Do. At #14 Avicii features again this week with another new track featuring Rita Ora. The song Lonely Together is rumoured to be remixed and become an official single in due course. Galantis have entered the Top 20 this week to reach a new peak with True Feeling after previously falling out of the Top 40.

Martin Garrix has climbed 10 places this week with Pizza. There is also a new entry from relatively unknown dance outfit BUNT. who were also discovered on Thermo's Hot Hits this week and their Avicii-style music is a wonderful listen. Mark Kinchen, better known by his stage name MK, is another new entry at #26 this week.

This week sees dropouts from Little Mix, P!nk, Sigala, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and J Hus.
