WBBM-FM, a US radio station, has added this song from Shawn Mendes as their Hot Pick on AllAccess, so looks like it's going to be released next.

I don't think they are giving up on Illuminate and it could be a re-release of the album instead.

Anyway, it should be mentioned that in the last days of January, "Lights On" (*) was added by another US station, KYLD-FM, as their Hot Pick, so there were intentions to release that track as the next single, but I guess it didn't happen because "Mercy" was still doing well on US pop radio, peaking last month, so I assume his label scrapped that idea and they want to go with something new this time.

(*) Initially, it was labeled as "Lights", so I thought it was a new song, but it was updated to "Lights On" days later.

I guess it's only a matter of time before the biggest Canadian, Justin Bieber, follows suit to have another mass Canadian chart invasion with Drake & Shawn Mendez taking over! Mr Buble may also make a guest appearance.

That title just seems too long and clunky, 'Holding Me Back' sounds better on its own but obviously I'll wait to properly judge the song itself.

It's just one of those lazy re-releases like when the Tinashe version of Slumber Party got added to a Glory re-release really. There's no other new tracks and probably no physical edition, they've just added this at the beginning laugh.gif kinda begs the question of "what's the point" :')
