I know most album threads are made before the release date but I thought it was more appropriate to make this just after it's release since I don't think many people really listen to Twenty One Pilots on here but I'm hoping this new album will get some more Twenty One Pilots fans on BuzzJack, In my opinion Blurryface is their best to date, if this is the first time you've heard of this duo then please go listen to their album, it really is flawless and each song is so different, there is something for everyone
1. Heavydirtysoul 2. Stressed Out 3. Ride 4. Fairly Local 5. Tear in My Heart 6. Lane Boy 7. The Judge 8. Doubt 9. Polarize 10. We Don't Believe What's on TV 11. Message Man 12. Hometown 13. Not Today 14. Goner As the official release date isn't until the 19th of May the audio for each track hasn't been released yet but they released the album two days earlier in a few places... iTunes: www.smarturl.it/blurryface Google Play: www.smarturl.it/blurryface-gp Amazon: www.smarturl.it/blurryface-az Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/3cQO7jp5S9qLBoIVtbkSM1 Webstore: www.smarturl.it/top_store There's also some videos that have been released as well and an audio for Lane Boy This post has been edited by ℒ𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓼𝒆𝔂: 8th January 2016, 10:17 PM |

Some of what I've heard from Vessel is rather good, particularly 'Trees' and 'Car Radio' so I've taken a listen to some of these, and I really like 'Tear in My Heart', that starts out very normally then works its way up to being very amazing, I do like how quirky they're willing to be.

I think Polarize is my favourite at the moment.
Blurryface has debuted at number one on the billboard top 200 albums chart http://www.billboard.com/charts/billboard-200 |

Gonna give this a bump now that "Stressed Out" has reached top 10 on Billboard.

This is genuinely one of the best albums in a long time (not biased or anything )
But really, the amount of different sounds on the album (for example comparing Stressed Out to Fairly Local and The Judge you get completely different vibes and sounds which is amazing) It's great that they don't have a specific sound, they can delve into different genres but still be recognizable as twenty one pilots. There's not many bands these days that have that talent. |

I still think Vessel is the better album.

Car Radio was the first song I heard from them and have been a fan for a couple of years, I think Car Radio is still my favourite song from them, Holding Onto You a close second, I think Vessel and Blurryfacre are on par with each other overall tbh

So seeing as they seem to be gaining some pretty wonderful traction I've decided to turn my occasional song loving (of the likes of Car Radio, Trees, Tear In My Heart and now Stressed Out <3) into a full album listen of both 'Vessel' and 'Blurryface'. See, I hadn't ever listened to an album even though I'd decided that I loved every song I'd heard from them so far, I need to stop doing that.
I think, for my money, Vessel is the slightly stronger album, but they're both pretty incredible all the way through. I'm just awestruck by the creativity that goes into each song to make it sound different from the last and still a very enjoyable listen. All that mix of slightly different genres is pretty genius too. Holding Onto You, Semi-Automatic, Fairly Local (well I'd clearly heard that before as per my first post in this thread but only now has it stuck) and The Judge are probably my new highlights. Some lovely albums. |

I don't really wanna make a separate thread for this since I don't think there's that many people on buzzjack (yet ) that would do it, but if you guys wanna follow Cody's lead and rate each of the tracks, I will count them up at some point when we have some more and post results in here too if you want, just to get some discussion going?
Feel free to do it for Vessel also since the past few posts have been comparing the two |

I listened to 'Stressed Out' the other day, I was impressed. So I checked out the album... Really, very good! I think 'Not Today' is my favourite, but there are a fair amount of good songs on here.
I've heard some previous stuff before, only briefly, but I think I liked what I heard (can't remember) so I will now be checking out their older albums. |

I've only just noticed that Stressed Out is at #79 on iTunes! Hopefully it'll rise more.
