Thought Kygoline would be in the top 40 seeing as they're quite high on iTunes and Spotify. Same goes with Chainsmokers

Going be close between Drake and Beyonce in the albums! The former is on track for 22.1k and 22.8k for the latter, but there's a day's worth of streams missing for Drake.

LOL, three different #1s in the midweeks this week, Calvin was first, Justin followed, now Drake looks like Drake has the edge

What I'm finding really amazing this week is that Kygo's debut album is outdoing Meghan Trainor's on their first week!!!
Kygo officially more relevant than Meghan Trainor |

Guessing only Frans will make the top 75? At least that will be the fifth Melodifestivalen winner to make the top 75 in a row
That may well be the last Eurovision song to ever impact the UK chart in any way, unless Spotify/Apple Music add some of the songs onto prominent playlists in future years. But it's hard to tell how it would have impacted in other years. Heroes did alright on streaming last year (wasn't its third top 75 week actually due to holding up well on streaming?) and Euphoria might have been streamed more than others. I guess an incredibly popular and commercial winner might stand a slim chance of taking off. |

Love that Calum Scott is hanging around in the charts (40-42-36-36 so far) and should have a 4th week Top 40 and possibly a new peak.

I'm fairly sure Bars & Melody only had a one-single deal with Syco and Loveable Rogues chose to leave the label too. What we hear in the press with acts like Ben (that it was a mutual decision) might cover up what actually happened - Something I Need did well for him but he only reached #21 with Second Hand Heart, and they might have expected better (although if they did they'd have promoted him more). There is a chance RnB will be performing on the Britain's Got Talent final though, as they've not announced any guests for that. I'm pretty sure Ben's album performance was a key factor in what ended up happening with him. |

Love that Calum Scott is hanging around in the charts (40-42-36-36 so far) and should have a 4th week Top 40 and possibly a new peak. It'd have been much higher had it has been released soon after Britain's Got Talent. Gabz & Bars and Melody got top 10 singles by doing so (releasing the song that made them popular). His audition video might have nearly 60 million views, and the video of the cover he did of the song 2 years ago at nearly 20 million but people need to be made aware of it. I'm pretty sure Ben's album performance was a key factor in what ended up happening with him. Maybe so, but maybe he suffered from 'under-promotion', I don't think they targeted the right audience and he got a fraction of the promotional push Fleur got. Reggie N Bollie not making the top 20? Streaming really is pushing them down isn't it? Mind you it wouldn't surprise me if the choir were #1 on sales. |

1 Drake feat. Wizkid & Kyla - One Dance (81.0k) 2 Justin Timberlake - CAN'T STOP THE FEELING! (80.7k) Wowsa this is so unbelievably close. The album chart is so close too! Love One Dance but really want JT to get to #1 ... Drake's streaming is just craziness... |

As far as I know, "This Is What You Came For" wasn't atop in the midweeks this week, unless you meant last week. Potentially we've had 4 this week (Alan Jones may confirm tomorrow?) with Stone Roses at 1 on Saturday, Calvin/Rihanna on Sunday then the surge for JT seeing him at #1 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - followed by Drake today. |
