 I guess we were lucky it was high up a Christmas playlist which helped it go Top 40 a few years ago |

Really hopeful after today’s mids that ‘Santa Baby’ will be able to surpass its #38 peak - the power of a b-side

Just for a bit of analysis I made a note of the Snow Queen streams on Spotify from the 4th December to 12th December...9 days....current popularity levels...
1. Santa Baby up 8.380 million 2. At Christmas up 948,000 3. Santa Claus is coming to Town up 672,000 4. Every Days Like Christmas up 446,000 5. Christmas Wrapping up 290,000 6. It’s the Most Wonderful Time up 251,000 7. Winter Wonderland up 250,000 8. Christmas isn’t Christmas up 206,000 9. Oh Santa up 129,000 (it’s on the 100 Greatest Christmas compilation, having its best year yet) Rest aren’t adding much sadly. Love that ‘Oh Santa’ is getting a boost - that’s what we need to start happening each year with various tracks appearing on playlists.
It’s such a feel good Christmas album, I love her version of ‘Christmas Lights’

Sadly the last three tracks aren’t even adding 1000 a day and Stay Another Day and I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday just over.
The top nine above can all have the best years yet, I’ll keep an eye on the numbers. Oh Santa already added more this year than it has each previous year. It’s on 665,968, early December it was well under 500,000. This post has been edited by aeroco: 14th December 2020, 12:53 PM |
