Ariana got a brand new tattoo yesterday (a quote from The Truman Show) so what better time to discuss her many pieces of ink? Vote for your favourites (included all the ones that she still has) and then discuss below!

Ari began her obsession in 2012 (at 18 years old) and now has a whopping 40 known tattoos, including 5 that are covered up. Here they all are:

Tattooed Heart

When: 2012 (her first tattoo)
Where: Second toe of her right foot
What: Small heart, inspired by working on her debut album 'Yours Truly' (that contains a song called 'Tattooed Heart' of course)

Mille Tendresse

When: March 14, 2014
Where: On the back of her neck
What: Says the words 'Mille Tendresse' - a line from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's

Bellissima


When: 2014
Where: On her left side near her chest
What: The word 'Bellissima' (Italian for 'really beautiful') as her grandpa used to call her that.

Crescent Moon:


When: April 14, 2015
Where: Below her left ear
What: The outline of a crescent moon, referring to her song 'Moonlight' from the album 'Dangerous Woman'.

Honeymoon:


When: April 16, 2015
Where: Middle finger, right hand
What: The word 'honeymoon', a reference to her 'Honeymoon Tour' and song 'Honeymoon Avenue'

אלד


When: April 16, 2015
Where: Ring finger, right hand
What: 'אלד', a small Hebrew phrase - the tenth name in the 72 names of God - the name "protects from the evil eye and bad dreams, and helps the re-birthing process." It's also a reference to Ariana's faith, Kabbalah.

What: A tattoo that says 'R.E.M', this references the song of the same name on her album Sweetener. This new addition was also first spotted in the 'Breathin' music video.

Where: Left foot
What: The word 'Myron', the name of one of her dogs. This was thought to be a tribute to Mac Miller, as Myron originally belonged to him. This covers up the 8418 tattoo.

Moon, Stars and Sun

Where: Left hand
What: Yet another tattoo involving a crescent moon, but also with the addition of stars and a sun this time.

What: A cartoon of the Pokémon character Eevee.

七輪指♡


When: January 29, 2019
Where: On her palm
What: Another Japanese tattoo, she originally wanted it to say 'Seven rings' but it was too painful so she left out three characters. She had it fixed to '七輪指♡' which roughly translates to "seven rings (that you wear on your fingers)".

Branch of Leaves


When: March 17, 2019
Where: On her rib-cage
What: A branch of leaves tattoo that surrounds her 'always' one.

Vine


When: June 19, 2019
Where: Right index finger
What: A tattoo of a vine that covers up her 9 3/4 tattoo. She got a second vine tattoo also but this has now been covered.

Dots


When: June 2019
Where: One on each finger
What: A dot on each of her fingers.

Eye


When: June 2019
Where: Her index finger
What: A brand new tattoo of an eye on her index finger. She also got a further finger tattoo this month but so far it cannot be made out.

Arrow Dots

What: Three different sets of arrow dots tattoos.
