I really thought there would at least be a small sophomore slump but listening to this now there really doesn't seem to have been one. It could even be more cohesive as a whole than 'Goddess' although maybe it is too early to say? Everything is so good and there is no real filler tracks.
I don't even how to pick favourites. 'Gemini Feed' and 'Mind Games' are still incredible, but maybe of the new tracks 'Weaker Girl', 'Lovesick' and 'Trainwreck' (which might be one of the best things I've heard from her). Feel like these will sure change though. Also can't wait for '27 Hours' which is missing from leak as it sounded like such an 11/10 from the snippet. |

'27 Hours' is also incredible.
What an album. 'Haunt' is probably the weakest and it is still a 7.5 or even 8.0 |

She has always been a singles girl for me and this album is no exception. The majority of the singles are magical but the albums always lack something for me. Oh well, I don't mind that. She's still great.

TRAINWRECK <3
This album is once again FANTASTIC and i'm saying that after one listen when i'm sure Goddess took weeks to PROPERLY get me. I am so glad she's delivered again, although I didn't even have any doubt going off the singles and how rich the last album was. Comparing to 'Goddess' this is certainly more streamlined. 'Goddess' is incredible but it's also A LOT to take in. Goes well with the title of it and the excess of the cover etc vs the more stripped back approach she has with the cover of this. The two of them compliment each other fabulously, they're like yin and yang and i'm so glad she hasn't disappointed because she had a lot to live up to |

I never quite clicked with the first album but this one sounds much better on first listen. A few of them passed me by still but the highs are very good and I can definitely see me playing this one far more.
Totally getting the Trainwreck love. |

I think '27 Hours' may be coming for my ultimate favourite of the album over 'Trainwreck' and 'Gemini Feed'. It's so incredible and can't believe it's only a digital exclusive. I think I love it so much as it slightly reminds me of 'Brain' which is still my ultimate Banks track

Having given this time to settle in, I can safely say it's JUST the follow-up to 'Goddess' that I wanted. A brilliant album filled to the brim with her dark, mystifying personality and damn catchy for the most part.

New song. Don't know if it is for a re-issue or just a stand alone song like 'Better'. I am thinking probably the latter. Anyway, it's f***ing gorgeous. |
