1. Manchester City 2. Liverpool 3. Tottenham Hotspur 4. Manchester United 5. Chelsea 6. Arsenal 7. Leicester City 8. Watford 9. Everton 10. Wolverhampton Wanderers 11. Crystal Palace 12. West Ham United 13. Burnley 14. Bournemouth 15. Aston Villa 16. Newcastle United 17. Southampton 18. Norwich City 19. Sheffield United 20. Brighton & Hove Albion I think the top 2 will be the same as last season but they wont both win as many games as they did last season, I think it will take about 93 points to win the league this season. Tottenham are almost nailed on for a top 4 finish I would say and it could go either way in the battle for 4th spot. Wolves will drop off from the standards of last season and I would be very surprised if Brighton avoid relegation this time. I don't think all of the promoted teams will stay up but at the same time they wont all go back down to the Championship either. Top scorer: Mohammed Salah Player of the year: Raheem Sterling First manager to get sacked: Ralph Hasenhüttl I got absolutely nothing right here and the predictions for Watford and Sheffield United are especially cringe-worthy. No one could have predicted a year ago that the season would end in late July! |

If you swap Watford and Sheffield Utd around, then do the same for Brighton and Bournemouth, you weren't far out at all! |

1. Man City [best squad depth by miles so clear favourites] 2. Liverpool [won't be as close next season, too reliant on front 3 if one gets injured] 3. Tottenham [will just edge it but addition of ndombele is postive] 4. Chelsea [lamps will surprise people & young players will show they're capable of stepping up] 5. Arsenal [same old story will wow at times but fall apart at others] 6. Man United [no reason at all to be optimistic unless a few more big & reliable players join] 7. Leicester [additions of perez & tielemans will put them ahead of the also rans] 8. Everton [will wobble during supposed easy start putting silva under pressure but ultimately fight back] 9. West Ham [tough to call how they'll do but decent signings should see them into the top half] 10. Wolves [europe league will spoil them but not to same extent as burnley last season] 11. Southampton [expecting a big improvement for them under hassenhuttl] 12. Watford [probably the hardest team to predict as always but comfortable mid-table beckons] 13. Bournemouth [solid as ever job from howe, unspectacular but never in danger] 14. Burnley [think it'll be another tough season for them but will grind out results at the right time] 15. Crystal Palace [could be tricky if they lose both zaha as well as wan-bissaka, enough midfield options to keep em up] 16. Newcastle [don't think they'll go down but can see them flirting with relegation for a long time] 17. Aston Villa [dramatic fightback in last 5 or 6 weeks to survive] 18. Brighton [think they'll play better under potter but they don't have enough quality with an ever-ageing murray being relied upon] 19. Norwich [pukki could be heroic but we'll have to see, for now don't have enough to go on] 20. Sheffield United [couldn't really name any of their players aside from sharp - championship team in the prem like huddersfield] Points for Champions: 94 [still ridiculously high but a few more draws this time] Top Scorer: Salah [hardest one to pick due to injury potential but can't pick against someone who never misses a minute & will be on pen duties] Player of Season: Sterling [came close last season but he'll be the main man for city as KDB will get injured again & aguero will rotate will jesus] Young Player of Season: Alexander-Arnold [no obvious candidates but if he has a season like last it's a decent shout] First Managerial Sacking: Bruce [already sacked before the season's started for some people] Lol this is always hilarious... I got Chelsea & Southampton spot on. Then was only out by 1 place on a handful of others. Way too optimistic with Bourno & Watford and let's not even mention Sheff United Biggest goes to Steve Bruce for not only surviving but thriving! |
