Hello everyone and welcome to Windevale, city of eternal winter. We're proud to be hosting the 84th edition of the Buzzjack Song Contest on behalf of Yehesi, who scored their first win last month with the fun and uplifting "10.000 luchtballonnen", sung by Belgian/Dutch girl group K3. A Little About Us

Cadelicia is a small country on the continent of Quilvoria, home to nearly 3 million people. Straddling the equator, Cadelicia basks in glorious weather in the far north and south of the country. Windevale, the capital of Cadelicia and this month's host city, is high up in the Windevalian Mountains; this causes a vast change in temperature and climate, bringing darkness and colder temperatures to the city (perfect for skiing and honing your snowman making skills)! The country was recently granted permission to extend the northern border to the coastline, due to the partial land acquisition of Jamora, and have used this as a way to gain more tourists (by offering sun, sea AND snow to budding travellers).

During the country's 32 month life in the BJSC, there has been varied success. Cadelicia has multiple top 10s to their name in both the main contests and spin-offs but only one win, stemming from the second Christmas spin-off. Last year we hosted the 5th edition of Re:LOADED, and hope to make Yehesi proud by providing a polished edition of the main contest on their behalf.

Green Room

This is the Green Room, where you can discuss all of your preparations for next week's confirmations thread. Where is your act from, and what genre do they represent? Will you be playing it safe, or will you take a risk in the hope of giving your unique song the chance of recognition?

Please don't post any major spoilers about your entries in this thread or the Confirmations thread. If you feel the need for a little bit of help deciding on your entry, you may PM trusted allies with potentials (WARNING: discretion is advised). However, DO NOT reveal your actual entry, either on here or on any social media, to anyone until the Semi-Final threads have been opened.

Timeframe

Below is the provisional timeframe for this months contest, pending moderator approval. I've tried to keep to a Sunday/Monday opening or closing of threads as these seem to be the days where most of us are available. This is also the reason for the longer than usual Green Room thread.
