Often cover singles are looked down on, but 'Jump' felt pretty edgy/cool for a cover, for 2003. Well it did to me anyway! I remember being SO annoying that Westlife's 'Mandy' beat them to the top spot. I do wonder whether 'Jump' would have been a #1 if it had been the Children In Need single for that year. Admittedly the connection to 'Love Actually' was quite a big deal, but then the track was left out of the film anyway... |
