Chart Analysis It's two weeks at the top for Pale Waves, while SZA gets a belated 2nd week at #2! Arlo Parks's new album launches her into the top 3 as well as elsewhere in the chart, followed by former #1 Perfume Genius slipping to fourth. Georgia rises to #5 with Waves of Devotion, then Rose Gray and FKA twigs drop from their last-week top five peaks. In between them is Brent Faiyaz with his first chart entry (it's also the first for DJ Dahi, and a second for Tyler, The Creator). Jae Stephens and Lana Del Rey both rise slightly this week by one place, concluding the top ten. New entries come from Shygirl, Punctual, Celeste and Sam Dew, and there's also entries for a number of SOPHIE tracks - an artist who will be greatly missed. 01 Easy - Pale Waves [2 - 1 - 1] 02 Good Days - SZA [13 - 2 - 4 - 8 - 2] 03 Hope - Arlo Parks 04 Your Body Changes Everything (Boy Harsher Remix) - Perfume Genius [14 - 12 - RE - 1 - 3 - 4] 05 Waves of Devotion - Rone ft. Hi Ansel!
I told myself I was going to listen to some songs from the highest charting albums to try and find some decent music, not done that for Arlo Parks yet so here's my chance It's sounding nice, a very chilled-out verse (very similar to the Celeste song I heard last night actually!) and then a mor serious chorus which sounds great as well. I don't recognise much of your chart at all whoops so I guess I'll listen to another song - SG Lewis/Nile grabs my eye, giving that a play now, not my favourite from him on first listen but still sounding decent and could definitely grow (and that guitar riff is definitely bringing it up!) Great chart |

Hey Ansel!
Yay Chemtrails Over The Country Club doing well here. I am legit obsessed with it. Not even joking. I'm actually a wee bit surprised to see Drivers License fall here, well fall so far. I expected another week top 10 😏 I am still.absokutely loving Breathless. It's gorgeous. |

Great chart Hey Pete! Glad to hear you gave Arlo Parks a go the album was a really nice surprise for me too! SG Lewis's new one is a definite bop too Thanks! Hey Ansel! Chemtrails is great, I had low expectations after Let Me Love You Like A Woman but this has got me excited for the album again. With drivers license, I think I played it so much at first that I'm almost over it already and ofc I'm pleased to see you're still enjoying Breathless! Thanks! |
