Belgium get us out of the starting blocks this evening when they announce their artist for Rotterdam!
Reports were going around a few weeks ago that they were in discussions with the #1 on their wish list - with how soon this reveal is coming, could they have got them on board, whoever it may be? |

Sennek was also announced this early 2 years ago but she was a victim of the most unbalanced semis ever so that's not to say whoever Belgium have for 2020 will suffer the same fate.

I didn't *think* he would do it, but I was really hoping Stromae when they were discussing with their #1
Hooverphonic could be very good though! |

Yes Hooverphonic! Interestingly, they recently got a new vocalist who is 19 and competed on The Voice in Belgium.

I’m disappointed It makes me think of a slightly more interesting “A Matter Of Time” |

It's nice enough when it's on, but I forgot how it went seconds after it finished. I was really thinking they'd pull something special out for some reason but that's just plain forgettable.

I accidentally heard this not realising it was a Eurovision entry and just seeing a new Hooverphonic song (I don't usually listen to Eurovision entries before the evening) but it really didn't stand out, we really needed something more Romantic-esque
