It's the first single from Lana in a long time that really grabbed my attention. 'Venice Bitch' is lovely too so this album was shaping up to be really strong. I hope the OCC have got ahead of themselves and misinterpreted what was meant by "fan tracks". Perhaps "fan tracks" just means they're teasers of the album ahead of the lead single. God I miss when album eras were clearly planned and anything released from an album was a proper single. |

it's all cos of Spotify which allows artists to release whatever they want whenever they want, so artists start putting up songs even when the album is not finished, see what sticks...
it's the same with most artists, look at Billie eilish, in between singles she also released Come out to play and When Was older, and none are on the album |

i don't get the problem with artists dropping random songs and seeing what sticks and whatnot. This is not an exact science and they don't owe shit to anyone. maybe she scrapped the original idea and had to start over at some point? who knows.

WHEN I WAS OLDER is for a soundtrack. It wasn't a case of throwing anything out there and seeing what sticks. |
