Top 50 Chart Commentary

Kungs keeps #1 for another week to become only the third song to spend 10 weeks at #1, following Avicii 'Waiting For Love' (12 weeks) and Sigala 'Sweet Lovin' (11 weeks). Whether Kungs can overtake Avicii's record will be decided in a few weeks. This means Tobtok is at #2 again for a third week and it now seems unlikely that he will be the next #1 in this chart. Offaiah and Martin Garrix climb a place each in the top 5 to reach new peaks and we also see Martin Solveig back in the top 5 at #5.

Just one new song in the top 10 and it comes from Armin van Buuren vs. The Ultimate Seduction with 'The Ultimate Seduction', which climbs five places to #6 to replace Christine and the Queens in the top 10.

Kungs has a good week for his other single too, 'Don't You Know' which climbs into the top 20 at #14 this week. Other big climbers come from Felix Jaehn 'Bonfire' (38-15) and DJ Snake 'Let Me Love You' (28-18).

New entries in the top 50 come from Marshmello (his first entry, 'Alone' at #32), John Gibbons ('Would I Lie To You' at #38, following his top 10 'Your Love') and Danny L Harle ('Super Natural' at #40, which follows 'Ashes Of Love' - this week's #36) as well as climbers into the top 50 from John Newman (Olé, #39), Armin van Buuren ('Again', #48) and Izzy Bizu ('White Tiger', #49).

woo glad you're back!
album of the week got scrapped as there's no albums out at the moment worth listening to oops.
yes This Girl really is a choon of life, it ain't going nowhere in my chart.
his 2nd proper single I believe but he's released many songs. I'd say it's about as good as Faded myself.
really pleased that a song like this can be a top 20 hit single!!
indeed it is. it'll be big in my chart it is great!

02. I really enjoy both, this is slightly better though!
03. I think it'll get there eventually, it seems to be stabilising on iTunes and gaining on Spotify. Besides R1 haven't playlisted it yet and I think it's incredibly likely that they will.
04. Well no, 'Animals' is very hard to top, but I do love this new direction.
14. It doesn't sound like a hit single to me, not in the UK anyway but perhaps it'll smash in some countries in Europe.
18. I do like it, I don't loove it.
27. It's really taken its time but it should finally make the UK Top 40 soon.
29. I'm really getting into this now too, amazing to see it climb the charts!

01. I'm certain this will become the equivalent of 'One Dance' in my chart, literally nothing is challenging to knock it off the top right now even though it's been around for ages I'd really lol if Kungs managed to knock himself off #1 here but I don't think that will happen.
