I understand why we have them, but is there a new place that the one that is in the opening post here >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
can be situated somewhere else, or is there literally nowhere else it can go? Coz it really messes up the opening post a lot of the time for when we want to use banners for things and want it to be laid out a particular way etc... I've been meaning to ask this a while, but the Lady Gaga album rank is the perfect example. That banner would sit nicely had that box with the advert not been there and left a huge white gap at the top instead. No worries if not ofc, just wondered and thought I'd ask |

Yes!! This really annoys me too. Even if you have ad block, there's still a small space there that messes up your post if you've started a new topic or your post appears at the top of a new page.

Tell me about it. When I was doing the Meghan rate and the neat gif formatting I'd done in the first post looked off I wanted to throw my Treat Myself CD at the screen :')

I have a little work-around that I use, but it only works if you have AdBlock.
CODE If you just put "" on the first line and the rest of the tag on the second line, the banner will go just underneath that little gap and be centered correctly. But if you don't have AdBlock, the ad will still force the banner to shift to the left. I reckon the placement of ads might be different on the new site? |

another Q: is it just me who isn't getting any adverts at the moment? I'm not using AdBlock either. just getting white space where the ad should be.
(but yes this opening post ad has always been a minor annoyance) |

hi guys, couple of questions above. On the first one around the ad in the first post this accounts for just under 1/3 of our ad revenue and so we need to consider ways to maintain this. That being said the new site will have a mobile friendly template and it will probably not be on this - 50% of our users visit on mobile. This will all be ironed out when we move to the site site in a few weeks.
On the second question around ads, we currently have no ads being served since the beginning of the year. We are working with Google to get them working again and this will probably happen when we go live with the new site. |

August 2020 orrrr? I feel like the new site has been coming for almost a decade. This August Mobile designs already completed and desktops will be done in the next 2 weeks then they will be cut up into a webpage! The whole website is already on AWS without the new design and works really well so don’t foresee any surprises... it will be August realistically as there are a couple of features that are new and will need some review before we go live! Long time coming |

No rush Lord Philip, I think he should wait, make sure the new site is incredible which i am sure it will be, add the new bee logo which represents the buzz of Buzzjack (while still keeping the Lady Buzzjack symbol too), and upload it on Christmas Day I think, that would be a great time to start it and would make it a great Christmas for the Buzzjack community.

hi guys, quick update. The designs were done on the 06 July and the developer gave me a 2 week timescale to complete cutting the designs into a webpage. This has been delayed and only today I have been sent the final pages which I am looking over! I then need to take these and put them into the site which will take another 3 weeks max. We are close
