Yes, because it's definitely worse that someone's a member of *thunderclap; woman screaming* THE ESTABLISHMENT rather than, y'know, an open racist who boasts about sexually assaulting women.

In an ideal world, Obama would stay on. However, I cannot stand Clinton and I'm hardly alone. Trump is terrible but even if he got in, he wouldn't be able to do half the things he talks about. |

As if the other half he would be able to do wouldn't be totally horrific? To say nothing of the huge outpouring of attacks that would inevitably follow from something as legitimising as a white supremacist being elected president.
And also, why can't you stand Clinton? Because she's in favour of foreign intervention? Because she talks to Wall Street? Cos it's not like Obama isn't just as guilty of those either. At that point, what are the other things that seem to make Clinton so unappealing compared with Obama? |

If Clinton gets in, all these problems will be at the forefront at the next election in 2020 guaranteed. If Trump gets in, all the problems will no doubt come to a head. Sweep everything under the carpet by electing Clinton. |

Oh God I hope Hillary wins. I came to US 2 years ago and if it happens Donald to win, I am sure I am going to have to pack and leave...I come from muslim country and family and he said so many time that he will deport all the muslims out of US.

Clinton will win by about the same margin Obama did 4 years ago (i.e. solid but not a landslide by any means). The republicans will then spend the next four years refusing to compromise on anything meaning she won't be able to do anything and she'll get beaten by Scott Walker/Paul Ryan in 2020.

And people voting for Trump and saying that he deserves to be a president, you all disgust me. I wish you will never have to deal with fears for your life but just try to understand millions and millions of people being affected if he gets elected as a president. Mexicans, muslims, gays etc etc.

Sweep everything under the carpet by electing Clinton. Racism doesn't go away if you don't elect a racist, but racists certainly feel far more emboldened if you elect a racist. There's hardly a guarantee that a racist will be elected in 2020 if Clinton gets elected this year. |

She'll get beaten by Scott Walker/Paul Ryan in 2020. Why? He didn't go down too great last time with proposals on cutting Medicare to the bone almost solely to fund tax cuts for the top 5%. By and large people seem to realise she's not that bad once she's doing the job, so it's no guarantee that it'll be four years of eyeing the door. |

Sweep everything under the carpet by electing Clinton. Like Brexit has done wonders for racism and homophobia in the UK, legitimising their views has made it all go away! |

Clinton's views and policies are the most in line with Obama's though (by a long way), which is why he wants her to be president. I don't understand this mentality at all. How on earth can you think that someone like Trump would be the next best thing to Obama. I don't want to bring up the word that rhymes with hexism, but saying things like that automatically make my head turn that way. |

Of course, because there's a wonderful long track record of populists taking advantage of racial resentment not doing what they say they will once entering office.

Clinton will most likely win. However, not by much, which is ridiculous. She should be beating Trump like Chirac beat Le Pen in 2002, or like Johnson beat Goldwater in 1964. Unfortunately, at the moment, it looks like Clinton will probably win with 300 electoral votes at best
