Real shame AJ left in that way wishing her a full recovery.

I'll be cheering for Team John in the final and hoping he can upset the odds and lift the Glitterball away from Rose.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to AJ, I liked her dances a lot too

I like Rose, but I'm rooting for John to win

It's all over cry.gif

Rose and John were both absolutely incredible. Rose's Couples Choice is my TV highlight of the year and it'll be a Strictly moment I'll never forget. John's final dance was so joyous and I just cried watching them. The montage of AJ's highlights and subsequent interview were really well handled but my heart broke for her and Kai sad.gif

I know Jade touched on it a couple of days back, but my GOD, its been a delight to get totally lost in this series this year; especially when things are so crap and miserable. Its genuinely picked my mood up during times when I've felt pretty shit.

What a series. heart.gif

Both couples were great but i was over the moon for Rose and i thought the win was very emotional.

Rose of course an utterly deserving winner wub.gif her partnership with Gio was a pleasure to watch unfold and she's a remarkable woman and very talented dancer <3

John and Johannes' showdance made my heart soar heart.gif it was quite a tearful night (especially with AJ and Kai's segment cry.gif definitely missed her on the dancefloor tonight, I'm sure she would've smashed her jive, charleston and showdance!) but that was so joyful, as well as Rose and Gio lifting the glitterball.

Definitely my favourite series of Strictly since I started watching <3 what a year for talent and breaking down barriers, the best TV escapism I could've asked for recently and I'm glad others had the show to pick them up too.

Can't wait for the tour as long as it goes ahead (dying at Max George being shoehorned into the line-up though, am I going to see the Simpsons dance live rotf.gif)

Predictable winner. I preferred John and Johannes personally but it was clear Rose was always going to win from day 1. Such a shame for AJ And Kai, really gutter for them, she was a fantastic!

What a fantastic series of strictly my favourite so far! I felt incredibly emotional in the final, as a gay deaf person I always struggled somewhat with lack of representation on mainstream television when I was growing up and it felt surreal to see a gay person and a deaf person in the final of the biggest show on TV! 😍

There are other picks that are better in terms of technicality but just went for the ones I'd enjoy rewatching the most!

The dances for tour were announced today and AJ and Kai will be performing their showdance, glad we'll get to see it wub.gif (ofc Omicron/injury permitting)

I think she’s a bit too current to commit to a whole series but her appearance has went down well.

I suppose it depends on how her schedule is. Has she toured her most recent album yet as that may be her focus for 2022.

AJ has had to pull out of the tour as well now and Maisie Smith from last year will be dancing with Kai instead.

Such a shame that she still hasn't been able to properly finish her journey on the show sad.gif

Oti Mabuse is to leave Strictly Come Dancing after seven years as a professional dancer on the show.

The South African star, 31, won the BBC One contest twice, with Kelvin Fletcher in 2019 and Bill Bailey in 2020.

"I can't put in to words how difficult this decision has been, but I have decided not to return for the next series," she said.

Not too surprising as she's getting a lot of gigs elsewhere but sad all the same as she was definitely one of my favourite pros!

(btw I went to the Live Tour last month and had an amazing time 🥰)
