It would be so much easier had i based 'What About Us' on the original routine. I'm not sure how I will rate 'Higher' because the new routine is just awful.

Have to hand it to Disco Love, that really was the closest they got to a Beyonce moment. The problem is, so many of them have multiple routines or they perform them slightly different each time and the ballads don't really have routines.

I rated the original routines of Up, Work, Higher and What About Us.
The ballads got a 01 because well...they don't have routines, erm?
Forever Is Over got a low score because it barely has one, but the thing with their arm at some point during the chorus is nice enough, so there you go.

No -1 for me this time. I don't think any of their routines deserve one. However, I've been really nice. I've given 11, 10, 9, and 8...but BY THEIR STANDARDS.

I think we need a consistency for the ones which have multiple routines. E.g What About Us, The Today Show would get a higher score than the UK micstand version.

If there are multiple routines, I'd go by the better one.

7.0 If This Is Love
8.0 Up
0.0 Issues
5.0 Just Can't Get Enough
8.0 Work
0.0 Forever Is Over
3.0 Ego
9.0 Missing You
4.0 Higher
11.00 Notorious
6.0 All Fired Up
0.0 My Heart Takes Over
6.0 30 Days
10.00 What About Us
7.0 Gentleman
7.0 Disco Love
6.0 Not Giving Up
8.5 What Are You Waiting For?

Disco Love is iconic. that Baby Baby Baby arm thing gives me life. The original WAU is also one of their best. Gentleman was very good as it fits the song so well. also i'm here for the Missing You routine as they did it so many bloody times.

Not including ballads, I think one of the worst was What Are You Waiting For. It was just too fast for them to dance and sing to.

There is a good routine somewhere in WAYWF, but it's lost with all their usual schtick Aaron gives them so they don't have to dance too much and obviously it's also heavily affected by their (lack of?) talent as dancers.

I agree, I actually think it's one of their more interesting and complex routines but it's poorly and lazily executed.

Does this mean their choreograph routines in their videos? Just wanted to confirm. What happens if they don't have one in a video?

Posted by: Hurricane May 6 2015, 08:00 PM

I personally ranked the routines they do live.

Those are actual discussions about Rih ha career and pointless is just a bit of fun, like we had in the sats forum as well smoke.gif

My points was that this forum is doing fine without all the extra desperate rates. No shade (or maybe it is magic.gif ) but this forum is so great, it's a shame we are lowering ourselves to rates like this to gain posts

This rate is pointless since there routines are mostly shit and changed so often.

Still waiting for the This Morning performances rate though smoke.gif

Scherz said I could do one and then Lee said I could as well but been one thing after another. Nine months later it will happen this week if I'm still allowed to host, mark my words! laugh.gif

I actually love Tim (even if he's in denial and thinks I'm not his fave mod anymore) and I see his point. But I did think this rate was a cool idea unsure.gif

Posted by: *Tim May 11 2015, 12:54 PM

Oh it's nothing personal Zachary! I think I made my point tho so I will not go on about this biggrin.gif

Posted by: Totto May 11 2015, 07:20 PM

I don't think it's a bad idea, it's just a random timing not even a build up.

People haven't shown any interest in a 'routine rate', I feel it's just a bit to random.
