I think Iz is right to have self-confidence, electro-swing has a concentrated audience but they should all give it big points and I can easily see it top 20.

I'd be gobsmacked if Bøtanikkä aren't top 10 or thereabouts though.

From across both sets, Danæviia, Fljótavík, Lookylion and Aeroche are good calls for success I reckon - hard to pick a definitive winner though, all are strong entries that do their own thing extremely well but none particularly strike me as having quite the mass crossover appeal they will require to be tallying more than 300 points, so maybe something else will come up on the outside. Or maybe I'm wrong.

There are some pop songs being tipped for the top that I personally wouldn't expect to see in the top ten but it's always incredibly hard to predict where the votes from the silent majority (mostly made up of pop voters) will go. They usually congregate behind one or two entries in a big, often unexpected way and I almost always get the pop songs predictions wrong!

I don’t quite see Storm doing an Emerald Princess for me again especially as not too long ago Aly & Fila got a load of top 5 predix and came 10th but yay for some hype.

I won’t redo odds but I think I’ve put Bhangra a bit too high and Farc are certainly more of a contender than I thought.

I’m not going to do full odds this month as there are already loads here and it feels somewhat unpredictable, but I’d definitely agree with Danæviia, Aeroche and FARC being in big contention, along with Bøtanikkä and Fljótavík.

D'yermak'er and Thelonia feel like they could both either finish top three or end up in the low top ten, both hard to call.

Also very pleased with my odds in the last couple of sets! No idea how I’ll do, it really could finish anywhere.

Worakls I think should be a safe top 10 or so but I'm not sure it has enough crossover potential to go all the way to the top.

My initial thought for the win on my first listen to the semis was actually Bøtanikkä and it still wouldn't surprise me to see them take it. But FARC is a very good shout.

The hype for Danæviia has been growing, but - as excellent a song as it is - I agree that it's probably going to have limited crossover to the pop voters so it's going to need high points from probably the entire dance/alt blocks to snatch the win, and there are a lot of other instrumentals targeting the same audience.

Also going to throw in POPHub as a dark horse, it's not been particularly tipped so far but I wouldn't be surprised to see the pop fans crowd hugely behind that one, I'd say it has quite a wide appeal.

I honestly have no idea what will win but there's bound to be a couple of the pop hits that are really popular among the majority of voters and I wouldn't be shocked to see one of them win, especially as there was quite a lot of dance and instrumental entries so their votes will likely be split. I can still see Dan's entry doing very well and hopefully Jade's too - plus obviously Aeroche will be in contention

Plus I still think CHVRCHES could do well and I'd be suggesting Suedeonia also if the radio edit had been submitted.


I think I'm being way over predicted tbh so I'm not expecting the highs that are being suggested - it wasn't even my favourite song there!
