1. Babel
2. Little Miss Sunshine
3. The Queen

I think I would really like The Departed if I ever get around to seeing it but Letters from Iwo Jima doesn't really seem like my kind of movie.

The intertwining stories style of Babel was really clever which I appreciated it a lot. I found The Queen rather dull as a film itself, the Mirren performance was the only thing to write home about really.

Little Children would've made a good nominee here too but The Devil Wears Prada is my personal favourite out of all the films nominated at the other awards that year. Dreamgirls was fantastic too and surely can't have been far off a nomination considering 8 nominations across the other categories ohmy.gif

1) The Departed
2) Little Miss Sunshine
3) The Queen

all fab films! The Departed was a deserving winner & I haven't seen the other two since I was rly young but I remember loving both <3

Babel is on Netflix I think so rly need to get round to that.

Also Dreamgirls being snubbed still hurts cry.gif It was a massive shock iirc. The Devil Wears Prada should've been here too!
