Which of Russia's two Swedish penned 'russians have totally never invaded anywhere' ballads is the best?

Definitely A Million Voices. What If is good but it plods a bit and I don't go back to it much.

'A Million Voices' for sure. Even though it's got the freshness going for it, 'What If' never really took off me. Both are acceptable potential X Factor winners singles.

What If for now, that song really stood out for me when I saw it live, love the final minute or so.

Russia have been on such hot form since 2011. Now THERE'S a series of anthems to invade a sovereign nation to *.*

They're on a very similar level for me but I'd plump for "A Million Voices". I think it's got an extra sweetness to it and is easier to listen to - as much as I love both.

Both are amazing, I think 'A Million Voices' has that little extra something though - it's a bit more uptempo and the song just feels a bit "bigger" than 'What If'. Both really are great though.
Oh and the video for 'A Million Voices' is fantastic, much better than that everyone standing up in the theatre holding hands situation in the 'What If' video. |

A Million Voices has so much more power behind it and it's the first Russian entry that I've come close to loving in the time I've been watching, they're normally very much a 7/10 nation and this has them going up to 8/10+ for once. So that. What If always left me rather cold.

What If by MILES, the chorus is so much stronger and the last minute is just brilliant. It all just sounds much BIGGER, well everything bar the production. It totally feeds into my love for utterly basic bitch balladry.

Russia have been on such hot form since 2011. Now THERE'S a series of anthems to invade a sovereign nation to *.* This tbh. Although I still prefer the dreary ''Shine'' but I'm sure Polina will take care of that. I miss the days Russia brought out bangers. By which I mean ''Song #1". Could Serebro 4.0 please make it back to the eurostage now thanks~ |
