The impact week isn't the week the song's released, but the week where the record company expect the song to make its first meaningful dent on the chart - a sort of unofficial release date. |

Oh right I see, seems a funny way of doing things! I know capital and a few others have been playing it a bit - it's yet to be picked up by kiss heart and radio 1 though it's been played A couple times on radio 1 but it's not being overly played which is why it's not making much of a wave IMO. However I guess have to give it time - thank you for explaining this to me, I wasn't aware this was the case I thought they expected her to get a top 20 or 10 hit after her NTA performance and to be stamped on the OOC in its first
Week of Announcemnt it was 2nd single. |

I'm guessing part of the Bowie surge was the fact that Amazon were still taking orders while they were out of stock and giving an estimated ship date? Seems as though lots of people were happy to wait 2 weeks and placed orders? The impact could have been even greater if more stock had been available for those that didn't want to wait!
